how to read it?

Just curious, according to following article,

KUALA LUMPUR: Maxis Communications Bhd (MCB) plans to list its Malaysian operations Maxis Bhd (Maxis), under an initial public offering (IPO) which will involve 2.25 billion shares, of which 2.075 billion will be offered to institutions and the remaining 174.79 million for the public and its customers.


Refer to the MIH - Maxis BHD report card total number of allocated share only 117.44 million, is that meant there are still 60 million share for the public and maxis's customers up for grab?

I agree with you..I see how many newbies or inexperience investors here hoping to buy Maxis IPO without knowing the Fair Value of Maxis Malaysia..

hmmm , only 8.5K ppl got out of the 34,272 ppl who subscribed for 1K shares, is it considered normal chance ? seems low chance getting eh ?

pls give more explanation...why not since if prices less than RM5.20 should get it already...since cheaper than IPO already

The price will not stable on listing day, because this day is "goreng" day.............
the price cant represent the fair value of the stock, it have chance to boost 20% on first day, it have chance to drop 20% too..................
while the price drop below IPO, everyone scaring, who dare to buy?

Buying on listing day is suitable for experience traders.

IPO RM4.75 (fixed by Maxis, announced late today)
Institution Offer RM5.00
Target Price RM5.80

Sorry noob here. How does that translate into?

Is the public listing starts at RM4.75 or RM5.00?

What happens to the difference of amount being paid by every subscriber? Example i bought 1000 unit at RM5200.

i saw my status on M2U show auto reversed, anyone know what is the meaning?

can someone teach me where to check status ??

I thought the listing price should be RM4.75? y no reimburse wan?

Thanks for the positive thoughts...I'll just wait for Tuesday and check at the MIH website once info uploaded...if tarak dapat, then I'll give MIH a call and check with them on how to get back the bank draft.... haiz leceh betul
