Please bear in mind, Maxis has higher borrowings than DiGi. If dividends were to be cut, Maxis would cut first before DiGi had to.

this i know....I bought MAXIS during 1st day listing...so when it happen..i will SELL IT.

invest juz like FD for me becoz of the yield they promise.

You're right man. Anyway, both Digi and Maxis a good to hold for dividend. However, Maxis will drop the dividend policy of 8sen per quater starting next year. This mean you will get less than 8sen.

It's more prudent to expect less than 100% payout policy to determine buy/hold/sell for stocks. It's not practical to expect DPS>EPS forever.

For DiGi, it's still an attractive hold if they pay 99% of earnings as dividends.

For Maxis, NO.

and also doorgift.... as maxis got nothing for this year agm.....

Lundal got highlight in Maxis AR 2013- that 2015 MAXIS may not generous to give 8 sen every qtr.
