8 cents interim and 8cents final. But no special div as speculated. Not sure how the stock price response to this!

Maxis usually announce 8 cents (tax free) dividend per quater with 1 special or final dividend. So we will get at least 8 cents x 5 = 40 cents per year. If you're to base on current price of 6.5, then the dividend yield will be 0.4/6.5 = 6.15%. I am holding Maxis stock since IPO. biggrin.gif I am sure the dividend yield will stay.

I will not say tax free forever but at least for the last 2 years, i have been receiving tax free dividend from Maxis. Anything can change, that one i know for sure.

So far Maxis never miss the 8cents dividend payout per quater since IPO. Sometime they will give special dividend as well. I am confident another 8 cents coming. biggrin.gif

If Div can sustain, good to keep for long term. So far Maxis never miss the 8 cents per quater.
