Hi all the PS3 sifuu sifuu... got some question to ask before purchase myself a PS3 Slim.

I'm planning to get a PS3 Slim 250GB (MY set) from a forummer, but my question is can i claim warranty from Sony Malaysia if anything happens?? (touchwood)

I've read their warranty T&C and noticed this

5. This Warranty is valid and applicable to official Products which are licensed for sale and purchase in Malaysia only. Parallel imports are excluded from this Warranty. There is no repair service for all parallel imported products.

SO i wonder if i didn't purchase the 250GB unit from Sony Style or Sony Centre, will they still accept my unit for warranty claim?? Even i bought a MY Set from a forummer here?

And another question is, how can i identify my PS3 Slim is a MY set before purchasing?? And what should i check before bringing back my PS3 Slim??

RM13XX for a PS3 250GB Slim (MY SET) is it reasonable?
