1st of all, i'm new in the forum. So, I don't know where should I post this topic.

I just bought my PS3 and an HD LCD. It's viewsonic brand, VX2433. I bought the HDMI to HDMI cable. But when i turn on the PS3, the screen doesn't show anything. Just blank. So, i connect my PS3 wif the AV cable to the normal tv, and there's the menu. Then, I connect the HDMI cable to the LCD, and the AV cable to the normal tv. At the display oustput setting, i chose HDMI. Then both of the screen is blank. what should I do? T.T help plzzz

yea, the model is viewsonic vx2433wm. i've tried selecting hdmi pc/hdmi av, but still blank. and no, I don't have any spare hdmi cable.

Everytime i chose HDMI on my PS3, the LCD looks like got some activities on it. But still, it only shows blank screen

I've bought a new HDMI cable, but still the same problem occured.
I really scared if the LCD itself is faulty.

Can you tell me step by step to connect the ps3 to the LCD? ._.

Problem fixed. Turns out the LCD is faulty. It can detect other HDMI devices, but not PS3. lol.

So, I change to Asus VH242H. Need to add some money but it's worth it ;D
