does the ps3 we buy from sony come with the cable with 5 pin or 3 pin?
and whats the diffrence?

And if i plug in the HDMI cable,  i dun nd plug in AV cable?
*
you mean the power cord? is a 2 pin cord if you are refer to power cord.

depend whether if your monitor or lcd got build in speaker or audio output. if not you still need to plug in the AV cable in order to get sound.

Is it the problem is due I always use my controller to power on the console and after sometimes caused it not sync it the console properly?
Will go back and try to power on the console by pressing the on button and plug it the cable to the controller and press the ps logo on the controller...

oh well doh.gif  at least my dvd got surround sound cry.gif

i was wondering why my disctrict 9 got surround but mw2 dun have
*
if i'm not mistaken, district 9 is a dvd movie right? you will get surround sound if you are playing dvd/vdc/cd directly inside your sony set or dvd player.. but not while you are playing games if you are connecting your ps3 sound output with to the dvd player or sony set with composite cable or the multicable which comes with the ps3..

if you want surround sound from your games, your dvd player (which comes with the sony set) MUST have HDMI input or optical input. without these two input.. your games will only get stereo sound.

for surround to work on you ps3:
ps3->hdmi/optical cable->dvd player(which comes with you sony set)

ps3 > hdmi > tv ==> this will only give you stereo sound which output from your tv speaker
ps3 > composite > sony set ==> stereo sound from your sony set
sony set > hdmi > TV ==> surround sound for your dvd playback only

check your sony set manual.. see if it got the optical input... some might comes with it and some might not...
or get a new set which comes with those port.. or built your own home theater set... brows.gif
