Questions were based on spatial/pattern recognition. Calculators or papers were useless in the test.

not on question 39. too complicated. had to use a paper

Yeah,i see the little blanket at the bottom page.
Btw,you using mathematical solution like 1/2 equal to certain figure to solve this?
*
nope no maths laugh.gif pattern recognition.

the 2/1 represents 2 of a kind of shape and 1 of a kind of shape

i.e: 2 triangle 1 round

Seems that answer can be B as well instead of A
*
ahh but y is it A? laugh.gif there is a reasoning to it. answer lies in the M section. see if u can figure it out

M is for mixed btw a row with all symbols

I checked it once again,at the 2nd column with mix symbols, why is it (circle  ) and not (circle  )  ?As both still with mix symbols but both X and triangle interchanged.                                  (    X    )            (triangle)
                                                                                                    ( triangle)          (    X    )
*
sorry mind explaining further your confusion?

edit: oh..for that u need to look at all 3 columns for M and see if there is any reason why it is A laugh.gif
hint: dont just look vertically. look horizontally too laugh.gif

Horizontally?can you illustrate it?same pattern with vertical?
*
hmm.gif

k fine.

if u look at M section, there are the M compiled for all 3 sections.

if u look at all 3 sections individually, look horizontally

u will notice a pattern

where the top and bottom have the 2/1 pattern. so based on this logic, the M section in the answer, should also fulfill the 2/1 pattern in the middle section for M.

But when you look at the middle one, from left to right horizontally,1st....x-circle-triangle and 2nd x-triangle-circle.So there's 2 mix instead of 1 on others.
*
??

there's only 1 combination for it to fulfill the 2/1 combination for top n bottom rows, looking horizontally rclxub.gif

each vertical row is like a slot machine.

the order is X O ^.

haha cannot be H. one of my solution papers in past pages debunked. try looking again. there is a pattern confirming the left column and right column to have 2 Triangles and 2 Spheres

solution for last question

Question: did u do this for all blocks? does it work for all blocks? and what will happen to the other blocks if u did what u did to them? (by blocks mean all 8 combinations the question gave you)

did u notice that in all the blocks in the question, there are no blocks that have only one symbol lined up in a line? either vertically or diagonally

also, if u neglected the middle column, y is the answer B instead of A?
