Of coz you will need the things first then get the glider.. Else where the glider gonna stay
Here is basic necessities (most basic) that is needed when bringing gliders home:

1. 3ft Cage : RM100+
2. Sleeping pouch : RM20 +-
3. Proper diet : RM20++ (depends what you feed)
4. Water bottle : RM10
5. Fruits & vege : depends
6. Glider : RM300++
7. Bonding Pouch : RM30 +-

So at least about RM500 +- first time. and this is most basic.. Then once you get your glider you have to start thinking.. will you be able to cope with the monthly spendings for your glider?  seriously gliders are not cheap pets

Btw elite87, what SCC and shazman told u is correct. Don't jus take in glider jus because u wan them to be ur pet.. There are lot of things u nid to put in consideration.

Money and financial is one of the important elements. First time cost can be kinda high although u jus get the most basic stuff.

I hav seen u asking around for glider in pets store section. Pls make sure u know how to differentiate or choose healthy fully weaned glider. Do not support underaged glider.

@elite - the tent is for you to play your gliders inside. This is for bonding. No a glider cant live in a tent..

already decide from where u want to get yr sugar glider?..are u live around klang valley?

hamster accessories may not suitable for sugar glider...

i mean their cage and wheel..totally not suitable..

hopefully those guys manage to get their dream pet from respective seller..

Most of us located in klang valley which is very convenient to find a good petshop that supply suggie needs

You can let ur glider free roam, but with supervision. Don let your glider play freely without watching it. Accident may happen.

If the glider bonded with you, they usually will run on ur body or squeeze underneath ur shirt and sleep..

hey guys..i can see improvement in my relationship with my gliders..everyday they are getting less and less scared when i hold them..i don't want to hold them too long also coz i don't want to stress them out..take it slow and easy..

since u are a newbie like me..i'm sure that the shop keeper won't be able to provide after sales care coz he's lack of knowledge.

But if u insist to buy their gliders, since u like them make sure they are not underaged and fully healthy..
no one can tell where they get the gliders from, so it's the buyers responsibility to be concern and to be careful who who choose to buy from.

DOA = Date of adoption.. or considered the day you got your glider.
