hye every1, I gt a weird experience 2day.. yest n 2day  I normally take him out 4rm cage together wif his bounding pouch.. I put him on my bed layered up wif my old tshirt... yest he was fine.. cum out n tk honeydew  pieces 4rm me n eat... then was actively out f pouch... bt 2day he reli2 dun wan cum out.. after feed him wif sum mango pieces he start to cum out.. he was brave n climb over my hand.. as he walk till my elbow I put my other hand n shift to next han.. keep doin tat few times.... issit wrong to do tat? o shoulld  let him run around d body... 

then.. here d weird ting.. he start to explore my t shirt.. he keep finding the hand hole n  neck hole... keep go in hide... y like tat a?
every time I open up.. he will go n hide...  (nt d shirt me wearing.. bt d tshirt I put on bed which aso used to put on his cage...)

2day morning  I actually tuk him out wif pouch go town n go my aunt house...

Added on September 28, 2009, 9:56 amguys.. guess wat... 2day morning i was cumin bk to KL... i put chico into his bounding pouch n zip it up n i covered it wif my t shirt....

i was driving from sban till sg besi...
after i pass serdang.. i foundhim outside the pouch.. at the top of passenger seat beside teh driver one... doink.. gt shock of my life..... lucky i found a sheel staion.. i parked there... n was tryin mk him climb on my hand so tat i can put him in bk.. bt he dun wan cum up n keep jumping n exploring the seat... i hv open teh pouch n put near him.. as he go in.. i zip it bk....  i duno wat i did was rite o nt.. bt i was scared he mite go stuck sumwhere in car...
the weird ting is... there is small hole at the end of zip.. where he was struggling to cum out.. point his tongue n teeth out... y like tat one???

i bring him bk to apart..

let him out in the big cage... then i just mixed the instatnt hpw n added sum fruit to it... put there n rush to work....

was planing to bring him to office... bt since he was strucling wana cum out.. so.. i let him go in teh cage je...
any1 gt any idea??? y like this?? wat should i do to mk him gt closer to me sumore....
i actualy.. put him in a smaller cage at home for teh weekend.. as i showed earlier in the pic.. the 3 feet cage is only in KL.. at sban he is put in teh small cage.. is tat the reason??? any solution???

@tednet - leave your glider alone for 2 days yea.. let it get use to the new surroundings. Just put food for your glider for 2 days.. less handling. After that try the bonding process

@elite - yes that his bifurcated penis. Its very2 long lol.. its could stretch to like the size of your palm.

@Furiouz - kurma or dates can give to gliders no problem.. just make sure it isnt treated with any sugar or what.. so just the kurma itself - not processed. I give this to my gliders too.. But not too frequent.

Hi, anyone here put your SGs in your room?
Ive tried that but she makes alot of noise on the wheel and jumping aroudn the cage and whatnot. Because i can only either put them in my room or outside my house (which is covered). Any ideas on what i can do to reduce noise? FYI, my room's pretty small

Hi everyone & all the sifus out there,

I have been considering keeping suggies but i don't want to rush into it untill i gather enough of information from web & forums.

I really enjoy reading this forum as it is very informative and interesting, indeed it is really an eye opener to the suggies world.

Though i have been considering and tempted in keeping a pair of suggie, but i still have hesitations as i want to make sure i can handle and provide the right environment with lots of tender loving care. I am an animal lover but i know it takes more than that to be a good suggies owner.

I need some advice from all the sifus before i come out with a firm decision. My current situation is like this, I have 5 kids (adopted stray cats) living with me and my fiance in an apartment. I am not sure how would this affect suggies, can someone please advice? Setting up a nice cage and placing them in a safe place with good food is not an issue, but will my cats scare the hell out of suggies?

I also work from 9 - 5, but every Thursday i will be home late, around 10.30pm. I also travel back to home town in Penang once a month by bus. I also understand from this forum that once i am bonded with my suggie, i can also bring suggie to my office. Bringing suggie to the office is not an issue bcoz my boss always emphasize in making our office as our home. I also have 2 betta (fighting fish) in my office. I am in the sales & marketing line, occasionally i will have to visit my clients, which means i have to be out of the office.

Ok i think i should summarize my points and questions as below:
1) Izzit possible to have suggie while i have cats in my house.
2) Once i'm bonded with my suggie, can i bring suggie out when i need to visit client? Will they make noise, etc?
3) I travel back to hometown by bus at least once a month, morning bus back to Penang and 4pm bus back to KL on Sundays (reach KL around 8 - 9 pm). I understand suggie wakes up between evening to midnight, is there any solution for me if i really have to take the 4PM bus back to KL from Penang?
3) Can i bring suggie out with my everyday when im out of my house? (dont want my cats to disturb them)
4) My fiance and housemate are both smoker, i suppose there will be ciggie smell on them and their fingers, how will suggie re-act to it?
5) Occasionally i travel outstations and overseas for work, is there any solution for this? Like boarding, etc?

Sorry for throwing so many questions at once, i just wan to make sure i can cater up to their needs and be a responsible owner. Hey is there any gathering or TT sessions for suggie owners? Though i am not a suggie owner yet, but can i join to gather more info and learn from all the good owners out there?
