there are 3sizes for exporanium.

Usually we get the medium one.. the big one is very big, BUT u must hang it..if not it doesnt stable and will fall when ur glider jumping inside..

The medium wan can stand alone.. biggrin.gif

different gliders would hav different time of waking up and sleeping.

If u wake ur glider up every day at 9pm, they will soon adapt and pick up then wake up at 9pm every night.

Mine usually sleep until 2am..or even latter..if i don wake them up and feed them, they will continue sleep or wait in the pouch...

BIG NO!

I knew the products u mention.. However, that kind of product i don even suggest people to use on hamster eventhough it's written there for hamster use.

Usually this kind of shampoo are all scented with fragrance and chemical..

When u spray on glider body, their fur is so thick until absorb all the 'shampoo'...

You never noe whether the shampoo really 'dries' up that fast...or it actually goes underneath ur glider fur...

i use the animal wet wipes from petshack... Because some of the baby wipes selling out there are with fragrance..

Jus wipe their body is more than enuf. Gliders are good in grooming and cleaning themselves.

@farid, prevent from travel ur glider in bonding pouch during nite. It will stress them out..becoz they will keep struggling to come out. If u wan to travel at nite, bring them with u in cage or temporary cage, so they will hav space for them to roam around..

@Tapirus, Suzgliders has guidance on DIY... but some of the items u cant get here..and u hav to use ur own creativity to come out with new idea..

The pingpong ball actually is i put in the Ball Pit Playground i designed for them.. they always play and sleep inside...

Sometime i hide mealies inside then they hunt for it..

how to do if sg got cataracts???
why it happen??
can cataracts be cure?
*
Cataracts could be few reasons. Inherited from mother, or the mother's pouch got infection during pregnant.. or the mother is not on proper diet and malnutrition.. Obese/overweight or overbred mother's offspring will more prone to hav cataracts too..

sorry to hear that, but currently there is no effective treatment for cataracts yet. But send to vet for a proper diagnosis and see what u can do.

izzjml, there is no 'crab too much' for gliders... crabbing is like crying for human..is a way for them to express and deliver their feelings.

In your case, probably is because of frighten and insecure.

Some glider will require more time to tame and adapt to new owner. Jus pay more attention and patience.

Keep it up. Try tent time, it works well.

Fresh cherries? They are high in antioxidants. Good stuff but take out the seed coz the seed is very toxic.

my sugar glider has not been eating... she's only about 3 months old... im very sad because she has not been eating much for many many days. perhaps 4 days?

also, she has one 'hiss' sound, a very brief moment one, when she pees.

yesterday i fed her papaya but she only took a little, and totally ignored the apples.

what should i do???

Added on August 4, 2009, 8:32 amand in dont want her to suffer...

Hiss sound during pee? does this happen often?

Money used to hav such symptoms too... I tot it was Urinary Tract Infection (UTI).. but after check up, it's jus normal infection.

Aiks... gliders are really SOCIAL animal!!! They talk to one another for WHOLE NIGHT... headache...didnt sleep well..

Ohhh... tissue called sweet cherries. LOL. I though fresh cherries pulak.

Now I don't use wet wipes anymore. Have to save the trees, use wet cloth. After everyuse I wash with water mixed with enzymes. Wet wipes I have a pack that I use for outings in my bag but rarely use till I think it dried up already.

Use wet clothes, save alot money too.

U got too many gliders..if wipe using wet tissue cost u kinda lot.

Nice bonding pouch u got ther~~~ biggrin.gif

hehe...but i think eventually u will still go buy... tongue.gif Because of the fleece material...

the fleece that we bought usually quality not so good...after u wash few times then u will realize the difference..

Unless u use those IKEA good quality fleece that cost u 100 or over..

Be a smart consumer~~ biggrin.gif I bought and tried all the pouches from different petshop/seller.. so far only petshack and suggiestuff quality is good. U can see the difference... from the sewing, material they use, zip and design.. some are really bad.. biggrin.gif

Blue basket?? which one??? Cant remember..hahaha...

English blog don hav... write the blog in chinese because there is chinese community that not really familiar in english, and there is no proper information on glider care in chinese. So decided to write it in chinese.

Really got no time to do another english one.. tongue.gif u can visit Sugarcoatedcandy blog (english) or loritanah ones (Malay).. biggrin.gif

For those who open and write ur own blog, remember to make sure the information u shared is correct~~ rclxms.gif

Can u check the brand of the HPW?

The one i used is Bugsy. If is others you would nid to refer to others.

The one yueyi posted is correct method of preparation for HPW.

Gli-cal only offers when u don give ANY high cal food.. sprinkle one small small small pinch would more than enough. if not, will easily overdose.
