White tips are supposely to be a mutation rather than a color variation. People overseas have tried paring a WT x WT but end up only about 10-20% will produce white tips. About 80% of them come out as normal standard greys. So far there was only 1 white tip sold here in LYN and it was RM600. Now shazman owns it
Cipan has been breeding twice after shazman's WT i think.. he hasnt gotten any more WT so far
it super rare xD
yup u're right..it's gene mutation..
Homozygous dominant AAA -where u will get normal suggie
Heterozygous AAa or Aaa-where u will get white tip, mosaic, white face
homozygous recessive aa-Leucistic
something like that la...and it depends on which gene is stronger..just giving a simple explanation
when parents are AA x Aa
babies can be AA or Aa...so not all the time the babies can be white tip
and if the parents are AA x aa
babies can only be Aa
hope u all not confused
