Saw a Merc SLR in Parkson just now, seems have abit of change in packaging with aluminium card on 3 sides to reflect the car. Sadly Quality still not good, in fact after looking at it for 5 minutes i notice the steering is broken... was busy checking the paint job and nearly missed that part...
The car had scratch, uneven paint job on window frame (where glass gonna wind up), paint bubbles, nice car guess Maisto not for me. There were 2 Porsche GT but both also had flaws. Parkson having 20% off on most diecast, also doing rm10 voucher for every rm150 purchase. |

I compared a few Maisto, seems paint job is the main problem with it's QA/QC.
Am wondering when you buy Maisto do you check the car inside out? As you know local shops don't stock many car of same model (let alone same color). It's not like action figures you have 10 of them to handpick from. QUOTE(MasterLaoDa @ Oct 10 2009, 11:11 PM) |

For you guys buying online, you don't really get to be picky don't you, I mean if it's high end brand like AA & Kyosho they should be good, but Maisto, Hot Wheels & Burago, I would prefer to check them inside out 1st.

I don't mind a Black SL65 does it look like the one in Mr.Mercedes post?
1:18? Autoart? Kyosho? QUOTE(jchue73 @ Nov 5 2009, 06:01 PM) Don't think you'd get a reply for that one... Anyway, the way things have turned out, I'm really sore about the situation that I now most likely would end up with 2 units of the SL65 AMG Black Series. Thinking about the whole incident makes me sick to my stomach. What turned out to be a genuine offer to help purchase the model out of my own pocket since I was also getting one has taken a 180 degree turnaround and backfired on me. I never expected to be taken advantaged off moreover from a person I felt was truly wanting the model based on his login nick. Now that I got this off my chest, I'd like to move on and enjoy my diecast and not be too disturbed about the whole incident. Lest somebody makes a comment to remind me "Hey, why do you have two SL65 AMG Black Series in the same black colour?" on my coming haul... So if anybody would like to own a 1/18 SL65 AMG Black Series Dealer Edition and buy it off me, sent me a message. It's not here yet but I would be very grateful if you would state your interest to purchase. |

Cool down guys, the thread writes Diecast Car Collector so i guess even the rm4.90 cars in Toysrus can be posted here, should add the title description for diehard realistic diecast instead though so far most posts here are about more realistic cars.
Can't find Aurioun's SL65, is it the same one as AMG_SOH posted? |
