no need to apologies visionary1993, it football, of course player will play hard to win, i think referee know about Pique`s incident and give advantage, if Pique shot wide surely he will give penalty for Barca for this situation

Thiago Motta was really out of sorts. He even got a yellow card for tackling Busquets late. Seems like he didn't know what he was supposed to do in the match.

Good to see Eto'o came back. I missed him for sure cry.gif cry.gif

Very good performance by Barca. Without 2 most influential forwards of the team, plus a defender who just got back after being strucked with swine flu, we surely can't expect more than this.

Iniesta is not at his best yet. But he is getting there. Hopefully he will hit his top performance this coming weekend. Can't wait for El Classico rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

luckily Eto`o cant show his true color, we in good spirit for Clasico
seriously i start worry when Ibra and Messi not with other player in the tunnel but after our brilliant performance in 1st half i hope Pep keep both of them on the bench for Clasico
so after last night win, lost by one goal in Kiev already enough for us to secure last 16 stage

No wonder Eto'o couldn't have any impact on the match. He was supplied with absolutely no quality ball at all. Busquets really performed well in isolating Inter's midfielders from their strikers. And Stankovic never get the chance to do anything with the ball, except his attempted long shot when Valdes was not at his goal.

With this kind of performance, it shows that Barca is not heavily relying upon Ibra and Messi. I've been reserved with my praises for Pedro, but after watching him causing all kind of headaches for the likes of Maicon, Zanetti, and Lucio, I think Henry's place in the the first team is seriously under serious threat.

seriously Pedro really explode this season, when i watch Barca pre-season in August 2008 i though Jeffren will continue Messi and Bojan step, this Pedro really awesome thank to Pep, he know to convert a unknown boy become a star.
Do we really need Robinho now?Three day to go, i love this line-up for Clasico

Valdes
Alves-Pique-Puyol-Abidal
Xavi-Busi-Iniesta
Messi-Ibra-Pedro

But as usual surely Pep will put his Keita

we keep him on the bench, right now no one can replace Pique-Puyol spot, even sometime Pep put Chyggy on CB instead of Rafa when one of Pique-Puyol didnt play

with this type of performance, i can say who need robinho...he blessed with pace, the only thing he need to improve now is dribbling n he can learn it from his team mates,,as for henry, this could be his final season with barca

Agreed on Pedro. Plus some more added physical European game will help much too.

Rafa at his best always produces best range of passes from any CB thumbup.gif thumbup.gif Before Pique, it was Marquez who became our playmaker from the back line.

Iniesta extends contract

Andrés Iniesta has signed a new deal with FC Barcelona that will keep him at the club until June 30, 2015 and includes a buy-out clause of €200 million.

The 25-year-old playmaker put pen-to-paper on a contract renewal that sees his previous agreement improved, as that was due to run out in 2014 and had his buy-out clause at €150 million.

Key player

Iniesta is one of the most influential players at Barça and is one of the four club captains. Coach Pep Guardiola recognises his importance on the field and has started him in nine of his 15 appearances for the team so far this term.

Oh I can't wait. I seriously hope that the match won't turn out like the clash at the Bernabeu. Hoping something significantly more explosive, and with supreme number of shoots rclxms.gif rclxms.gif Treble Champions vs World Superstars. How bigger can a match be? hmm.gif hmm.gif
