Well, that's kinda weird if you ask me. The same thing happened for season 09/10, 08/09, 07/08.

Good news for those who want Cesc to be back home; according to EMD and Sport, AW is ready to talk with us, and take the 40ME offered. But there is a bad news; AW asks for 1 of our canteranos to be included as well, and the name supposedly proposed is JDS!!

Again we have this issue, do we need Cesc now? He totally the best replacement when Xavi retired, Joni currently is our best youth so far and look understand our game play very well but still need time to have a good vision like Xavi has
i think Barca want to Cesc join now because they want Cesc learn something before Xavi leave, it seem a good move, some people said we dont need Cesc now but in football you need time to mastering something and you need a tutor, that what happen to Pique and Puyol now, Puyol totally tutoring Pique both in training and the match and we always heard Puyol scream "Geri" in the match when Pique out of position and tell Pique where to be to built a offside trap This possible transfer have pro and con the good part is Cesc will have two or three year to play alongside Xavi and learn much about our gameplay the worst part is we lost our best youth midfielder |

QUOTE(faris21 @ Jul 24 2010, 09:08 PM) For me, it has more cons than pros.As things stand now, we are quite thin in CB and DM area. If we use up all of our money on Cesc, we have to be very dependent on B team. And the B team have their own big mission themselves, avoiding relegation from La Segunda. And at the same time backing up the first team? Quite a tall order for a bunch of teenagers. Unless we really have 89ME to spend on transfers..... I think this is why AW finally willing to discuss, but he'll make sure he will get the best out of the deal first, hence the JDS inclusion. |

it really close now, both Barca agree on 5 years contract and 7M salary
now it depend on Joni, we still have money to spend to buy CB and DM but Adriano can play as DM mean we have Busi, Keita while Adriano can be third choice DM |

He can play CM, not DM.now it depend on Joni, we still have money to spend to buy CB and DM but Adriano can play as DM mean we have Busi, Keita while Adriano can be third choice DM Keita as DM? I also don't buy this idea. He has poor vision to be our pivot. QUOTE(myhotgary2 @ Jul 25 2010, 11:40 PM) wishful thinking? Just pray that somebody from B team will step up like Busi and Pedro did again. The name widely regarded as the next gem is Fontas. He can play as DM. Maybe Pep think its about time for his turn? IMHO toure is still not properly replaced.. and for the love of god, we do not need cesc.. i'd rather they go for javi martinez..JDS?? please dun make the same mistake again.. We are about to make the same mistake. Kinda perplexing how can we lose both Gio and JDS |

i was just happy if barca can sold ibra to others,... seems like he is big burden for barca right now... he is one of the top earner in barca.. but, arrival of villa may allow him to be a bench warmer... we have pedro & messi to play in both flank.. and all barca need is strikers that can create space, fast & sharp which complete package of villa.....

Arrival of Villa just gives Pep more options at the front. I don't think he will affect Ibra's chance. He will mainly play as LW, like Henry, with some added dribbling ability and pace. Ibra will only sit on the bench if he see it fits with the tactic, or Ibra is rested/injured. |

I think Ibra's problem is mainly because he is finding Barca's style really hard to adapt into. He is not overrated or anything. He is a world class striker with brilliant set of skills, no doubt. Watching him when he was at Juve and Inter really showed that. But playing for Barca is very different compare to playing in Italy. The style is totally different.I'm not sure about him being a big match flop either. As far Barca is concerned, he scored in several key games for us. Real at home, away goals against Stuttgart and Arsenal, Atletico at home. Furthermore, he also scored 16 league goals. Not bad for a striker he found it tough to adapt into his new club ain't it? |

I'm not sure about him being a big match flop either. As far Barca is concerned, he scored in several key games for us. Real at home, away goals against Stuttgart and Arsenal, Atletico at home.
