Just got a rent on this place since Vista Komanwel too expensive.... B block

1900 with fan, lighting and heater preinstalled. Ok lah, but better than Vista Komanwel A 1700 near dustbin...

Staying in B block, was wondering if anyone knows if there is ANY form of internet available there?

Also, forgot to ask, apparently since I signed on, need pay one month deposit and then 3 more months to secure. Is this normal in Kl rental?

super cheap, not enough to cover repayment + maintenance fees based on the launch price 400k++.  if buy now around 700k for investment is like commit suicide... sweat.gif

but is it true,1900??

Forgot to mention, he wants to charge 500 for legal agreement but luckily I think I have one of my own

Was wondering if you knew about the internet availability?

Thought I should point out to anyone interested, that Covillea does NOT have a telephone line and if you, like me, need wired internet, you gotta wait till TM finally realize that a telephone line is vital to actually do stuff.

Also, apparently, contractor did not put in telephone lines when building so good job them.

If anyone got any info about it, let me know please. P1 and Maxis also cannot. You can try wireless but the quotas are like 10 GB or less so not for me. Anyone else got any luck?

Actually nothing to be worry. The building cannot get CCC if it is not ready for telecommunication system. You havent seem your unit yet?

Agree.

Maybe they confuse of phone line and phone point. Phone points are ready but need owner to subscribe to TM to get phone line.

It appears everyone made a misinterpretion of my statement. There are phone sockets. No telephone line. Confirmed twice. Once at the nearest TM point and again via Maxis. I also approached the IMU hostel managment (cause apparently students live there) and they told me that

a) TM has NOT connected telephone line to Cov. They have sockets but no line. TM refuses to instal unless >50% residency. So have some fun with that. I also asked Managment and got same reply. Telephone socket got, but from main line to the network of the apartments, nothing there. Good job there.

b) TIME is said to be setting up. They have exclusive access for the nearby Vista Komanwel A,B,C so it comes as no surprise. There are rumours that UniFi may come but I have already spoken to an agent from TIME and he says that Block A, if you register would get it in a week and Block B, 2-3 weeks, but no gurantee. TM has no idea where the balls Cov is and it doesn't help that no one knows the name of the street it is on and thus a lot of confusion.

I will update you guys if anything else changes. Till now, Cov is still a ghost town for Block B but some people have started moving in.

And get Astro. The aerial cannot support so many TVs apparently. Can only watch 8TV now and it's still horrible reception

Wireless internet like P1 is spazzy. May or may not get. Maxis as well. IMU purchased Celcom broadband for all it's hostel students to use.

Yep. Same here. Fella suggested fixing Astro. Apparently everyone sharing one antenna.
