Girl group T-ara recently made news for their lack of manners. On October 20th, they spoke to Star News from the set of their new music video "Cry Cry," where they said in apology, "We will be more conscious from now on."

They said, "In future we will be more careful to avoid any more misunderstandings. Our stance on manners is the same now as it was before our debut. Mo-se sunbaenim's words are not lies, but neither are ours."

"We are very aware of how much import a single word or action can carry while promoting. We will be careful so as to avoid misunderstandings. Please be tolerant and watch over us."

Previously, a netizen had made some comments on their lack of sincerity during a performance. Singer Mo-se then added to the fire by posting a tirade on his Twitter. "I know that. They are famous for not greeting others. There is a member who has never greeted me despite meeting me several times."

Hyomin and Eunjung sprang to their defence by explaining respectively, "There is a part in the choreography where we are meant to look like we are talking to each other," and "In future we will pay special attention [to our manners]."

After breaking records and achieving #1 on the Oricon charts with their debut Japanese single, girl group T-ara's label has answered questions about their follow-up single.

T-ara's Japanese debut song, "Bo Peep Bo Peep" debuted at #1 on the Oricon weekly charts on it's first week of release. After charting in the top 10 for three consecutive weeks, on October 18th, T-ara have sold a total of 65,818 copies. They have the high possibility of being able to sell over 100,000 copies.

The follow-up single will be the Japanese version of "yayaya", which was chosen by Japanese fans instead of their other song "Roly-Poly". "We do not have plans to promote 'Roly-Poly' in Japan," their agency said.


T-ara's hit songs "Roly-Poly" and "Bo Peep Bo Peep" are both by the composer Shinsadong Tiger, but they have two distinct concepts with different costumes and performance styles. They are choosing concepts rather than songs that will fit the Japanese market and fan's interest best.

T-ara's agency Core Contents Media recently said, "We do not plan to have activities for 'Roly-Poly' in Japan, but release the Korean version as a b-side. We don't think it'll be as big of a hit."

On the reasoning that their label selected "yayaya" as a follow-up, they said, "T-ara's Japanese record label made a strategical decision, and was very analytical about choosing it."

When they release "yayaya", it'll be at the same time as Namie Amuro and KAT-TUN release new songs. "T-ara has their own style and colors," they said, not being worried about the overlapping releases and activities but noting that T-ara will have a lesser amount of activities.

Meanwhile, T-ara will prepare for busy schedules by releasing their new songs "Cry Cry" and "lovey-dovey" in Korea in early November, and follow with their Japanese single album on November 30th in Japan.
