QUOTE(Archilles @ Jul 31 2009, 02:46 PM) If I'm not mistaken, you will get charge when you finish your 5mb usage, and it finishes very fast if you heavily IM The question now is whether Celcom is able to differentiate between BIS data and TCP data? I know that Maxis were not able to do that when it had the BIS Lite package for RM20 per 1mb. Everybody I know who used it never got charged more than RM20 per month, and that is including both BIS and TCP data. That package has since been replaced by the RM40 for 5mb Entry BIS package.

QUOTE(aikendi @ Aug 3 2009, 10:03 AM) If I'm not mistaken, Maxis will capped individual e-mails to up to 32kb per e-mail only. Considering that if you received a very small size email each time, then you won't be charged more data usage. Facebook, on the other hand, might be tricky because you might use larger data usage for image loads. No they don't. There is no capping in emails. The only cap is in downloading emails and that is set in the phone and not the telco so that you do not download so much if you are not going to read it. Most are set between 20-30kb for email headers and the first few lines of the email. As you read it, BB downloads the rest of the email for you.
