coz of the shell strength...
yes,better than ms88..but i think u should go for a better 1..such as SOL,LTD,MHR or branded ones..
*
SOL helmet is good.. i'm wearing one to be exact.. I think they are doing promotion once a while. if u live in PG.. drop by Racingmate.. but their price is a bit exp.

wah so many post liao...

seriously I never heard about pantang makes your engine lembab. the reason we do proper break in either slow or fast way is to make sure the engine part polish itself properly.. i think some expert could explain here. anyway regarding LIGHT ENGINE that make rough sound.. Okay this I agree, coz I used 10-40w EO on my other old LC.. it definitely make the bike feel and accel faster than my current ES, n the sound is louder.. Dun like it.

ok second thing about the back absorber.. there is a adjustable monoshock up to 7 level.. not sure what brand. could be racingboy or some ?? I read about it long time ago but if you adjust too high the balance of the bike might be different..

lastly that nOBISSS damn chio.. any ideas where to get in Penang Island ah.. I saw many CJIpoh pipe le.. but dun like it too loud. Silent with power is good.

hehe yup it's yss, that's the one.. I wouldn't recommend 10-40 in long run though.. esp if you always full throttle.

hey, i just want to ask, if u lower your fork what is the bad side ???
my foreman said that if you lower it, if i langar lubang the fork will move?? is it like that ?? plz help me ....
*
there must be a reason y the stock design is like that.. every mod comes with a cause just time will tell.. but it won't be big harm or anything.. just when you're going for corner or over big holes.. esp if you're with pillion.. but then just my opinion though. whistling.gif

mfa333: The spark bigger can ruin engine? That I'm not so sure.

i heard about this before when I went to Hong Bee service my lc last time. The foreman don't recommend me this. He said even though it gives more boost to power but then the spark is bigger so in long run it might harm the engine. Though I can't comment this. rclxub.gif

just came back from servicing my bike.. using the yamaha 20-50. it feels a bit different. i duno how to say. the lower gear can drag further a bit.. but anyway today lots of car on the street n the wind r so damn powerful.. can't go any further but i did hit 105kmph easily not even half rev as my usual riding style.

I agree with using 15-50.. that's the best for both.. using 20-50, what I did really feel is that the engine is a bit quiet but not much different.. but maybe I did slow break in.. so i duno.. well even today my old LC still kicking ass.. so I bet this would be the same for my ES..

RainingZero @ I bought around RM15 for the yama 20-50.. is okay la.. then again I got no choice the other day coz the shop got this or other 10-40 hi rev EO.. I try not to use 10-40 coz.. long term use might jerk up the gear ? I used 10-40 previously on my old LC.. walaoh lots of noise.. so i dun like it..

hoho maybe my luck. But its not so easy to get those optimum speed. Depend on wind condition and has to
"tunduk' a bit tongue.gif

Some said dat yamaha adjust the CDI to max at 140 oni eh? Maybe due to safety reason..  hmm.gif

BTW any of u guys here already using dis? Any review/comment etc? i planned to put it to my bike oso.

Chain tensioner is good to prevent loose chain and fasten up gear changing as well as prevent lost in power. But u still need to adjust both the chain n the tensioner as well. At least that's what i learnt from foreman.

I think stock Kriss esp the old 110 ver one can go above 130 with ease. But kriss speedo were
quite "Lite" compare to other kapcai.
Id test with my fren kriss side-by-side. My ex5 showed 110 but his showed 140 oledi

But for a kriss to tapau LC's at 130kph(LC speedo)...dat surely the modded one tongue.gif
*
not to mention even those ex5 also very geng.. anytime also can tapao lc. but can see or hear the diff la.. the way the ex5 accelerate and the sound is very diff from stock ex5. so far i've never seen any super fast modded lc yet.. i wonder how fast the acceleration if compare to normal lc.

15-42? Correct me if i'm wrong but is dat spock setting for pickup? LC standard was 15-39.

I think if u use 15-39/38 maybe u can smoke him back lol tongue.gif
*
correct me if I'm wrong, will changing sprocket really help in acceleration yet decrease in top speed 'I mean for stock bike instead of modded'..

Raining, this cam that u list out, does it costs more than 250 (including workmanship)?
My local workshop got shark brand, n he offered me 250..
*
I'm so puzzled. what r these cams u guys talking about ? Is it something that you need to modify the inner engine ? is it gear box or ??? sorry I'm really noob and I want to learn more.. can someone pls explain to me.. thx

Its more silent than most of the performance pipe at high rpm full throttle.  brows.gif
I'll do some detail write up and review once the pipe is officially launched. It's a promise smile.gif
For Penang kia, I have the pipe on my bike now, you guys wanna try out, js PM me.
it means camshaft.
see, there are 3 main things to change an engine powerband:

1) camshaft. it is at the cylinder head to control the valve opening and closing time.
2) cylinder head porting --> make your intake and exhaust bigger to allow more gas flow in and out.
3) exhaust pipe --> how to efficiently extract foul gas out of engine chamber.

1st one hard to find a street use one, most of the camshaft are stage 4 in Msia, which means low to mid end sux.
2nd one is easier, but we really need a pro who knows about cylinder head porting. a slight mistake and no turning back.
3rd one, hard to find a good one, which gives u power + pass JPJ roadblock.
QUOTE(UncleCheang)
How much the pipe huh? If not too expensive maybe i will consider... hehe...

QUOTE(tkgan)
same here

We can arrange a meet up and you test my pipe 1st. Then we'll proceed to the workshop.
I'll give special discount for forum members.
*
wah thx for the explaination. 1st n 2nd seems dangerous le to the engine part. 3rd one very interested... I'm really eager to see what kind of pipe is that, silent n look exactly like stock.. this is good deal to go pass JPJ n police. I've seen several NobiSSS on street pretty quiet but some ppl said very hard to find. My work place near komtar.. hehe.. if u happen to go there, maybe can pm me.. then it would be great to have a life prebiu

I just give feedbacks, the actual work is not done by me tongue.gif
Let's make it 7.30pm at KutaBali food court.

haha, my stage 1 cam + oversized porting + custom pipe = MINI VTEC.

U tested my NOB1 before, its something like that:
NOB: 50..60..70..80...90...100.....110.....120.......130
CUS: 50...60...70...80...90...100..110..120..130

mid-low to mid-high NOB1 SSS is faster, but once I reached the 'MINI VTEC' region, the power just rushed out of the engine Vroommmmm !!!!!
whole pipe sound also change to super loud like rempit.

and yes, my bike can go 130 with 3rd gear Standard size sprocket.  icon_rolleyes.gif
UGPM dude.

When the pipe is officially launched with brand name, it will be selling on par with NOB1 SSS price (around RM200). Now it is on promotion period.

TBH, I am helping my friend to sell his pipe and get some commission in return.
For the first 5 pipes taken from me, I'll give personal discount out of special promotion price. You guys will get double discount.

eh bro i was just wondering y u said u kena once at road block.. could it be due to the rear end hole different from stock ? What if just stick the LC ring metal thing at the back like some of the lc in town. U know the round metal thing that cover the hole of the exhaust ? Btw is it possible to upload to youtube so that we can hear the sound.. i wonder how silence is silent of your new pipe hehe..

I want to retire my 5 years old loyal Lagenda. Thinking about LC or FZ150i coz everyday i have to travel about 60KM to work. (Seri Kembangan to Damansara)

Need opinion on LC riders who also have experienced with FZ150i.  icon_rolleyes.gif Help me ya.
*
I've ridden a FZ n currently owned 2 LC. From stock factory, FZ got more torque and it's definitely easy on your back if you're travelling far. Definitely a better choice given you can buy a FZ with insurance for less than RM8k. That's a few hundred more compare to LC which is sold around 6.8k without insurance yet.. ES sold around 7k+.

Last time I was given a choice to either buy FZ or LC.. I go for LC coz it's easier in CITY ride yet I need a basket to carry stuff. With FZ u need a bag or saddle bag.. Don't use BOX.. it totally ruin the image haha.. n distract air flow when you're cruising at high speed.. But if I'm to travel far, I'll go for FZ anytime.

Maintenance wise is the same. They are both the same bike just FZ with fuel injection which means your pocket save more on gas..
