depends on luck too, but most of the time should be ok.
be sure to keep the purchase receipt, because without them police will suspect the item is stolen one or 'barang panas' nod.gif

*
lol.. all type of bike also will have trouble if we don't know correct technique to maintain them smile.gif

QUOTE(TryX @ Aug 12 2009, 09:29 AM)
ermm for the chain if u dont want adjust so much maybe u can try 428 O Ring chain from RKM or SSS that a very good chains i more than 3 month dint adjust my chain and is still tight on my spocket. That kinda chain is use on big bike so is very strong. I Just lubricate with chain oil from Motul 2 to 3 weeks onced depend on weather. Price range around RM220 - RM260 + spocket. Or Cheaper way is to install Chain tensioner but is not as good as that chain laaaa..... You still have to adjust your chain...
*
wahhh.. that was like 4-5 times than normal sprocket + chain set sweat.gif sweat.gif

nope for the time being smile.gif

QUOTE(whysomany @ Aug 13 2009, 02:44 PM)
maybe we should install alarm on rim now...who will think thatXD
*
am thinking a way to prevent them.

first, double stand your bike. then put lock or solex on the sprocket. that way, they can't move the rims as it's locked to the sprocket.
for the front rim, better put disc lock with alarm (branded ones like Xena is recommended). if they move the rim, they will trigger the alarm smile.gif

QUOTE(DarkForXe @ Aug 14 2009, 05:21 PM)
can anyone tell me the real reason behind LC success?
So many of them on the road now compare to 125z, shogun, and perhaps even matched the number of EX5!
i thought of buying before also.. but i really really scared of the bike being stolen.
*
nah, performance + outlook + versatile (can even convert yours into X1R laugh.gif )
not to say, countless number of aftermarket parts. from my POV, LC got the most number of accessories available.
most shop now stock a lot of LC acc, not outlook only but also engine parts smile.gif

and I think no need to worry about yours being stolen,
LC now can be seen anywhere (at my hometown la tongue.gif ). so the possibility of being stolen is lesser than 1-2 years back.

QUOTE(charge-n-go @ Aug 14 2009, 09:58 PM)
Finally changed to Michelin Pilot 100/80. Not yet try out its grip, the tyre is kinda oily.

hahaha... my friend already use it, am waiting for his review too since he's currently studying at Johor brows.gif
but I heard that MPS could last longer compare to others, the design also looks like battax one tongue.gif
my current TT900 had clocked more than 8000 km and still running unsure.gif

anyone here kindly tell me if want to use rear break disc
must change rim aa?
can use ori rim or not?
*
yeap, must change rim since original hub cannot be fitted with disc rotor.
normally ppl will opt for 125Z rims or alloy one.
but now Y-Teq also got rear disc brake set comes with original-look-alike rims (rear only).

Added on August 15, 2009, 5:30 pmBTW i already gt a question. If im using all stock, but i install nob1 titanium, would it give any bad effect to my engine?
*
added already biggrin.gif

anyway, NOB1 titanium i think is not suitable for standard engine, if SSS or ABM or CJ Ipoh then it's acceptable. but those racing-type muffler is more suitable for modified engine. if don't wanna play with block, cam etc... then maybe you could change the carb to a bigger one. but then, still can't unleash the true power of the muffler smile.gif

QUOTE(bizzy123 @ Aug 15 2009, 08:03 PM)
Anyway for ppl using racing block hv u guys experience overheat??
*
don't think so.. but for block with size more than 63mm IIANM, the hole for coolant to pass through is very2 small compare to smaller block.
this might result in overheating, unless you got another method to cool down the engine (put oil-cooler maybe? brows.gif )

Btw the function of TPS got use de bo??
*
QUOTE(EviLRegioN @ Aug 16 2009, 08:21 PM)
and i oso wan noe the function of TPS xD
*
TPS = Throttle Positioning Sensor.

it will detects the way the throttle is pulled,
and then it will sent some kind of 'message' to the CDI,
so that the best ignition curve could be chosen by the CDI.

me only know a lil bit, you could ask bro charge or alexei too.
for sure they'll give a more complex explaination biggrin.gif

I read tat manual n it says tat ''Dont let ur bike started din move for a long period, this could be harmful to ur engine'' what to do?? =(
*
lol.. don't be too worry mah.. imagine you're stuck at the traffic light. maybe most of time it don't take too long for green light, but I had encounter a traffic light somewhere in malacca (during our group's ride to Malacca) that took almost 15 minutes for the green light sweat.gif

Ermm  handling slightly abit berat from the stock, but bike more stable you can dare dare corner baring smile.gif. And kena bump time butt not so pain biggrin.gif Btw try out MPS u sure wont regret la is multi purposed used smile.gif Price also not that expensive + when people see the Brand Michelin they will drool.gif  drool.gif
*
hehe.. looking the thread, make me scared a lil bit lol.. it looks like too track-oriented, which means that handling in wet condition is suxx.
can any MPS user clarify this? i also interested to get one on hand too, but waiting for reviews first smile.gif

I've done 100km run and the wax should be gone now. However, I still feel a bit slidy on the rear wheel when going through bumpy corners. I dunno if this is the rubber problem or I don't have enough air in the tyre.

by the way, here's a short review:
