btw, how to make traps? I find eat easier to trap the limping half dead monsters and them pumping tranq shots into them than killing them outright... I am a HUMANE PACIFIST

Stun trap = traptool + thunderbug
Pitfall trap = traptool + net (spiderweb + ivy)

Yep yep I bought a bowgun while we were hunting the qurupeco
But ever since I got new armor which is mostly Blademaster, I sold off my gun.

I plan to become a Lancer - Heavy Armoured Mobile Unit... eh that sounds like gundam lol

My simple GS VS Barroth guide



Charge: When he charges and you are facing him, run to your right. When it stopped you can land a hit on the tail from Barroth's left (it's tail will hit you if you stand opposite direction)

Mud attack: Slash the tail from itss right, there's no safe spot on its left. Otherwise just hit its legs/claws.

Mud gathering: usually falls to its left, so go to its tail, in between its legs when it get up, do a level 3 charge.

Those are the 3 golden opportunities for GS, the rest are just bonus. It may be slow, but it's safe. And NEVER LAND A HIT ON ITS CROWN! Someone died from this accident last night

How come no one using hammer?

No one like bashing monsters into a pulp... all like hack and slash

For me, its gonna be skewering them with a lance and roast them over a bonfire

Hammer can KO monsters.. and you can do that with other weapons too but it will be very very slow

I just read about hammers... quite interesting. They have the highest KO rate.

i was using hammer for a bit, action was too slow for me. it was still fun tho. i was fooling around with a switch blade too. i usually come online with SnS tho, coz i am most confident with that.
