As far as im concerned, this news of Rosicky being injured only claimed by Wrighty. This is not the first time some tabloids spreading rumours that he's injured.Remember before the Emirates Cup whereby there were this rumours that Clichy,Rosicky and Dudu are injured? What happened in the end?We saw all of them playing.

So lets take this piece of news in pinch of salt unless Arsenal.com officially release statement that he's indeed injured.

This might be Wrighty using the club's source/insider to write some crap on his tabloid. You know he's been craping some time since he left arsenal. biggrin.gif

It was a great match last night. The lads closed down all the spaces cvery quickly and very well.Credits for that.Bendtner.He was the best out of the 3 strikers deployed by Wenger. He hold up the ball well and danced through Everton's defense. Is this the old Bendtner?I guess its not.The one who impressed me the most would be Song.He was very mobile and throwing tackles at correct timing, hussling opponent and had a very high success passing rate.

Vermaelen oh Vermaelan. What can i say about him??Alot of people told he's the smallest 6FT defender they ever saw.But today he showed great strength with aerieal ability although he missed few headers and read the game well.Hope this partnership of Gallas-Vermaelen will blossom.

I just hope that the lad can continue this form and add consistency to their game.

It was a great game.song,Cesc,Vermaelen and Gallas were really on top notch.I just love the Gallas-Vermaelen partnership.Song.what a game from him.He doesn't look like the same Song which came on the pitch smiling at Emirates while we're leading 4-2 and in the end we're drawn level. He improved so much.Got a pic from AM.Verminator.

QUOTE(Thumpy Ick @ Aug 19 2009, 01:06 PM)
agreed, i thought of that possibility too before =) the very presence of arshavin will demand at least 2 players to mark him off the game. bendtner's superior physical presence will probably be enough to see off a left back before attracting an extra opposition player to help dispossess the big Dane. which leaves RVP in the center, and defenders know how cultured his left foot is. i agree that this is the reason why most of our goals are coming from areas other than forwards.

which leaves me to the conclusion that kapitan cesc fabregas will be our most pivotal player in this formation. with most of the defenders off hustling 3 forwards, and most of the defensive duties left off for song and occasionally denilson, he's free to work his magic in the center. and as seen in the everton game, he had 2 goals and 2 assists to his name.

haha now that rocket rosicky's name had been mentioned: where will him and nasri fit in this formation? do we put ross in place of denilson? if we do that, we'll have 2 midfield wizards in the center of the field (WOW!) but then cesc wont have as much as freedom since both him and ross are attack minded. looking at song, haha i wont worry too much tho he's a monster these days. but denilson looked very sharp in the celtic game too.

or will he fit into bendtner's position? oh wow i havent looked at this possibility yet. this might be possible too. there's so much possibility within our squad if we're all fit smile.gif

Yea....Wenger did mentioned that he'll use 4-4-2 sometimes. So when Rozza and Nasri are back,i guess they'll play in each flank with Song and Cesc in middle of the park.

As much as I enjoy our rivals dropping points (who wouldn't?), let's keep our thread and discussions based on Arsenal instead. This is, after all, a public thread and any negative posts reflect badly on the members here, which is us of course.
For the fun of it, yes... but taking those "news" seriously, no.

If goal.com is your top choice for reliability, you probably want to check out better sites such as the below:

UK-based sports sites:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/default.stm
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/

or follow good quality arsenal blogs which often have good insight and fan-written articles:
Arseblog - good old drunken arseblogger who swears at anything that's not arsenal
A Cultured Left Foot - decent writeup and opinions
Gunnerblog - same as above
Goodplaya - probably the most accurate player analysis after a match
3rd Gen - pretty good too
Arsenal Insider - very pro-Arsene site, but many good articles to read... great weekly TGIF, but not sure whether they still do it or not
Untold Arsenal - My newest favourite arsenal site written by a die-hard old school gooner

For news and progress about the kids, try
Young Guns
Arsenal Youth

Stay away from goal.com or tribal or even newsnow. Too much junk going around.
And not forgetting other arsenal sites like the notorious "Le Grove" and its milder cousin "Arsenal Truth" which more often that not are shrouded with negativity and vile opinions about the club. Myles Palmer's arsenal-bashing site is guilty as well, but it's worth the occasional visit to LOL at his pathetic attempts to screw the club and Arsene around.

If anyone has any more good arsenal sites feel free to share... maybe we can compile a list and put it on the front page.

You forgot to add the all-in-one Arsenal news web. That's
