it's always interesting to see how the season folds, it will be fascinating to see how we fare against the other clubs. the odds are stacked against us, but what more thrill than to take all the critics' words and SLAP it back hard to their faces at the end of their season? i for one still believe we still have a good squad to beat any team in the world if we play to our best. it's largely due to injuries that i feel we havent been able to show what arsenal can reallly do.

what i do agree is that the squad can do with more experienced players, especially in the defence. but if arsene decides not to buy, then i leave it to his wiser judgment to decide. i am against kolo toure's sell, but again i believe he has more insight into the club and again, i trust his decisions.

^ rofl that's an interesting thing to happen... but vermaelen injured? i hope it's not too bad. we certainly dont need that.

n a new era at arsenal begins... now that toure has left, most of the players in the 'invincibles' squad are gone. let's make the 'invincibles junior' now!!!

ok i was seriously flipping out when i read that ross is out again, but it seems that it was all pure rumours? good then rofl, the last thing i need to hear now is further injuries to our players. the departure of toure saddens me... but please no injuries!

and regarding paddy back to arsenal... nah... that cant be true, right? wenger never does those kinds of things... right..?

if he ever wants to get an ex-player back, he's better off with a younger one. flamini.

random: lol i just had to get this in here, i hate how the FM arsenal is very like the real arsenal. injuries every week. let's hope this season we change it eh? get the wisdom teeth off, mate!!

lol we have so many capable attack minded midfielders in the squad. it's a pity we dont have the DM that we need. lemme count again... ross/walcott, shavin/nasri/vela, wilshire/cesc/ramsey/merida... playing FM with these guys in the squad is a complete thrill smile.gif the only not so thrilling part is the lame defence.

i think i'll go with the vieira return. i dont see any cons at all with him returning. not only he'll be able to provide the occasional bite needed by the squad, the young uns will have a model and a friggin legend to look up to.
n i esp hope diaby looks at the man that ppl have been predicting him to be once upon a time ago. last season was 30% denilson 70% song, why dont make this season yours?

shav/vieira/cesc/ross or 2nd string nasri/song/wilshire/walcott doesnt look bad at all

^ hahaha... arent the media bored of fabregas-related transfers already??? i know i am... cuz i know fab's loyal and he's staying

bring paddy back! because i seriously think if he doesnt come to arsenal, he'll do whatever it takes to get more games under his belt. and that includes playing for spurs. and i'm sure no one will be pleased of seeing paddy in white.

kalou, do we really need him? i cant believe the number of striker-related rumours we had since ade left. i still find importance in getting a defensive player first. i watch the arsenal space for vieira-related articles all the time haha

interesting article, i've never really considered a 4-3-3 formation with the team, although i do realize the absence of real wingers in the squad. i shall try this out in FM! lol

^ ok i shall keep my sanity with me until then smile.gif

worse comes to worse, we still have walcott n wilshire in the right flank... and i'm excited about the draw too. most of them are strong but none of them that we cant beat.

^ haha... i am left with nothing to say. obviously frustrated and disappointed with this new development, but i'm sure no one is more frustrated and disappointed that the man himself. i feel like a familiar phrase coming on........ get well soon, rosicky. wilshere n walcott would get more chances now.

is chamakh even the type of player we need? i dont get the point of getting him. huntelaar, well that would be awesome if wenger did another arshavin. and i dont hear crap about vieira anymore
