When is the premier of the anime?

wow finally the animation coming out..i love reading fairy tail. it has similarities to one piece theme "nakama" ..cant wait ~~

something feel weird about Lucy
she doesn't look the same with in the manga
i guess its her hair, look more thicker. animator seem lazy to add more hairline and just jumble them up became thicker. the same happen to Natsu

until now i still see fairy tail as a One Piece wannabe.
with that being said, it's not a bad series. not that good either.

I never watched One Piece before. But by the outlook of the drawing, there is somekind of resemblance..

It's not one piece wannabe, it just that both Author is learning their skill from the very same "sifu" 和月升洪

why not take Shaman King mangaka instead, same sifu, different art style. n their style with their sifu also really far apart, why he has to be similiar with One Piece's mangaka.

fairy tail's mangaka (sorry i didnt remember his name) early works got little resemblance with oda's artwork but the storyline and characteristic is different. but when rave and few of his works started to come tumbling down, and OP started to gain popularity suddenly he made Fairy Tail which obviously seems to follow OP's formula. but it is kinda acceptable though. its a decent series but for now fairy tail will still be overshadowed by One Piece but to be fair, it is relatively new compared to OP. maybe in time it will pick up it's own uniqueness. i'll drop the OP vs FT thing here i guess lol before things get heated up.

although i was wondering, can we discuss FT manga in this thread?

the anime drawing is kinda not too good...im prefer more to manga drawings..

Lol, these two voices are easy to distinguish. That said, i find episode 1 pretty boring. Pewpews not shiny enough for me i guess.

Pray it didn't endup like Rave. Quite disappointed it end not even half of the manga. :/

no big deal. its not wannabe. already mention why many times here already. story also different if you read the manga its different story. well ofcourse one piece story is better thought out than one piece. just think of it like a 2 different anime from same mangaka.
only same thing is hero eat too much, but that cliche is already long before even one piece too

One piece tell us a story about a young boy who wanna become a pirate and find a treasure called One Piece.The journey starts from the begining when the boy start to develope from nothing to a whole bunch of awesome dude in his pirate team. Luffy power is rubber base which can bend his body into any shape and can stretch to extend any length that he wish.Think he as Mr Fantastic in Fantastic 4.

meanwhile Fairy Tail is a story about a girl(yes!the protagonist is Lucy, not Natsu!) who intend to join a magical guild called fairy tail which already being well established with all awesome dude in it.Mostly each arc in Fairy Tail story about fairy tail daily mission.Lucy power is a summoner type magician that can summon spririts based on horoscopic character.Rite now she only have one which is Leo(if based on Kreko).If we take Natsu as the protagonist instead of Lucy, his power is a fire type summoner which can cast fire attack to the enemy.Think he as Kyo Kusanagi+that hero in Psycic force game/anime(i dunno his name)

Now tell me the similarity between One Piece and Fairy Tail coz I dun see anything that similary between both anime/manga except for the art.But still I like Hiro Mishima art when comes to girl cause' most of his female character are so damn hot and cute and the body figure is summore is physicall logic(the waist not too slim and the boob not too big.Most of his female character also has cute face).But in term of story, I like Oda's more.

Thanks for the info dude.Really forgot the story waaay back coz I read the manga through Kreko which seldom release every three times a month. Summore sometimes they off-ted the manga to give way to other title.

damn, i can already seeing this become a 24-26 or 50-52 episodes kind of anime
