the latest chapter does seem to show that makarov is dead and is being replaced by his son.
but its fairy tail, no fairy tail member dies, so makarov will just be heavily injured i believe. but i dont think even laxus do anything to help the situation though. |

he have heart problem since fighting festival arc and if hades attack really right through his heart... |

Makarov had knocked on death door for so many times now. I don't think he can be saved now. A miracle might happen where he will be revive somehow. XD

Sigh Natsu is probably once again gonna own everyone. I wish the author would show us the other S class mages in more battles. Wish we could see more of Mirajane,( I loved her battle against Freed, its probably the best so far in the anime) and Gildarts in action. Every other arc is about Natsu overcoming the odds and defeating the leader.
