you should go for an xray. maybe you have an avulsion fracture or something like this. check with the doctor.

TS: i have injured my wrist before when i did barbell curl (cause by improper form sad.gif) then from there on i cant do any barbell curl, as long as i do a lil heavier i can feel the pain on my forearms, and i stop doing bicep exercises. Until last year i think, i started to use those glove with wristwrap, so everytime i do bicep curl i will tighten up my wrist wrap, now i cant feel the pain anymore, and ofcoz my form is correct.

P/S: i injured my wrist like 4years before i think and it keeps comming back until the last year. Train ur forearm more with lighter weight, make it stronger.

Need to be very careful with wrist injury. If you overstrain your forearm, usually the pain is on the forearm muscle and tendon near the elbow, but usually it will recover within a week or so. But if injured wrist, better stop all heavy lifting, it may (or may not) recover at all.

But if accidentally sprain your wrist due to fall, better go consult doctor fast. I remember when I was small, I accidentally sprain my wrist due to fall, and it swell up (you know la, still small that time). Take me about 3-4 weeks to fully recover. First week can't even hold anything, the swell start to subside on the 3rd week. That time didn't see doctor, but luckily it's ok now.

1. Rest. Do not do any exercise or activity that will compound your injury.
2. Wear lifting gloves and/or wrist straps next time.
