Hi My fellow Compugates shareholders,
The last time I check this thread was more than a month ago. I am glad so many of you are still around. As for me, I have move on to other more active stocks. But I still hold plenty of Compugates shares. Even our taiko, GKP, has not officially bought any shares since Sep 16. I can't believe he is that inactive. Probably has gone submarine - buying on another anonymous accounts.
Based on my analysis, GKP still wants this company. He'll have to buy back the 940m shares he sold. So far, he has only bought back 88m shares in the last 3 months. So you do your math. Compugates will continue to be range bound for quite some time.
Some of you still believe the 'margin call' story. But I don't. It may be true that GKP almost solely determines the price. I said, 'almost' because GKP must buy back the 940m shares. Guess who have them? We! There are two ways he can buy back those shares. First, raise the price and many of us will be happy to sell them back to him. Second, frustrate us and grind us down (through prolonged inactivity or fear - further forcing down the price). Those who can't hold will eventually sell back to him at a loss. So we, the shareholders, still have a role to play. But we are many and he is one. In this case, it's easier to psychologically break down the many. That is many of us will eventually crack. And GKP knows it. Fundamentals don't count in this game. I am certain, those who can hold on till the end will reap big profit.
Just my 2 cents.
Good luck. I will check back in a month's time.
I cannot understand why u said GKP have to buy back 940m share he sold from market,is he under any obligation to do so? Can he just be inactive n comfortable with current level of shareholding for a long long time, remember GOMPUGATE par value is only 10 sen and the effective price is 70 sen per 1000 share. The last time I check this thread was more than a month ago.
