Personnaly, i feel the sound quality of M3400 is better than M3310. Do pay a visit to Edifier Showroom @ 4th flr Lowyat to test out yourself.

Woofer driver of R501 is 8" and the woofer of R451 is 6.5" only.

For 2.1, i will recommend u M3400 & M3300. 4.1 is not longer in market and 5.1, if u have more budget can try the M3500 & R501.

U can try the H800 @ our showroom. Since u have this budget, don't forget to test it with the headphone amp.

M3400 is succesor of R401 so the sound will definitely better than R401. Anyway, pls try it yourself.
