company car, counted 2nd hand la. I think should be right foot la. rev about 4rpm @ 120km/h

1. cannot count FC using the bar one la.
i think the bar not uniform across the range de.
example when near full tank, the 1 bar can go long distance. but once you low fuel, 1 bar short distance only. but to be honest, i dont measure using bars also, so cant confirm 100% the distance for each bar.

2. wailup, the HKS one how much? my car NA only but was thinking if it has enough functions, then it is more worth to buy than buying separate gauges for each, eg volt meter, vacuum, AF, etc...

3. btw guys, i tried the fuel saving technique mentioned in carbibles. basically it is to upshift from 1st gear - 3rd gear - 5th gear.
it is very smooth for my 1.5L so i'm sure the rest of u also can do easily.
but i dont do it all the time coz sometimes forgot (so used to normal 1-2-3-4-5 shifts). any of u tried this method and noticed any diff in FC?

last time i was looking for it, b4 tuning and thorough cleaning of my TB ...

that is called as short-shift (from topgear)... nowadays i go 1-2-3-5 ... shorted out 4 ... haha ... hard to skip 2nd gear la coz 1st gear revved too high eat more petrol .. but 3 to 5 very smooth .. haha

unless u carry heavy things, or going up-slope, 1-3-5 works wor.
1st tarik till 2-2.5 can liao, shift to 3rd....vrooom
unless u wanna race or something, i think not bad wor

oh really ah? .. din test out 1 to 3rd gear ...
later i try if no traffic jam ... if 3 to 5 easy only .. also around 2.5k then shift just nice ... haha

u faster get used to it then monitor see got help in having a good FC or not .. haha ...
anyway, i calculated that my car have an average of 12+km/l ....
KL to Ipoh around 14+km/l ... yesterday all the way from kluang to KL use half tank around 300km ...

now dunno wanna try V-power or not ... 1st of sept then all increase liao ...

thats average around 2 weeks le, 3 petrol fills of (14km/l, 11km/l and 10km/l) ...
din wanna start calculate earlier coz of the petrol tank problem ... normally i count is around 10km/l, due to the jam, bumps, bloody hills, etc ...
good FC when travelling long distance lo .. but then when back to work then things get worst ... slowly monitor a few more months to get the best average ...

oh, so your 14km/L was a mixture of city and some highway travel?
mine is 100% city driving, so that makes me feel a lot better

the 11km/l is the one mixture of 20% highway and 80% city ...
gonna continue monitor ... b4 my petrol tank problem, its around 10km/l for 100% city drive ..

anyway, killer have very good FC ... roughly around 15km/l one ... my best was still 14km/l ... others all 10km/l to 11km/l ...

Bro alvinz... i kinda read up da posts dat i missed & found out that ur extractor n cat con change liow congrads on ur upgrade . Just wanna ask how is ur consumption and power after change and is ur extractor from the zenden brand?

oh my, even with your petrol tank problem, you're already having the same FC as mine, so i think yours can only be better than mine now. i feel terrible. time to do 1-3-5 shifts damnit! but that means i cant heavy feet on the gas also liao...nvm i test n see big diff or not...

extractor not from zenden, only the bullet is by zenden ...
zenden's extractor is chromed RM230 if i din rmb wrong ... becoz i don wan chrome so i took the gulvernized steel, dunno how to spell .. haha ...
overall, i feel the car lighter than usual, very good on the low to mid range rpm ... only down part is when u rev high around 3.5k above u will hear the extractor bassy sound ...
FC i still not very sure, after changing i have been travelling ... now settled down liao so i will start monitor 100% city drive and let u all know .. don think have much difference gua .. haha

i think b4 petrol tank leaks, it has no problem le .. coz i dont notice any petrol smell and also petrol leakage .. i think that time i pump too much petrol then due to pressure imbalance and also the faulty hose then it leaks out ...
but still i doubt the FC will improve much coz now i see its almost the same ...
no idea woh, u gotta ask him lo ... if i am not wrong he mention around 50/50 highway and city ... not sure ...
