means the gps still as sux as before. Only advantage of this is the lifetime usage of ovi maps and its silver colour

Yeah. & the chrome frame is most likely a spray coat rather than metal. Which means it might come off easily.

Can u list out the steps u took to update ar?

I did it by replacing the folders/files inside the garmin folder... but didnt replace the garmin folder itself.
then i went into private n replace two folders and a few other places.

I try to execute once before execute the sis per instructed but it crash on startup. I ignore it and proceed to install the sis

Then as per instructon i execute the sis file and it install the .60 successfully but when i try to run garmin again it crash.

I think i made mistake in replacing the file....

Any advice would be good. Thanks

Easy method:

1. Download GarminMobileXT_5_00_60_S60_TW.exe file.
2. Extract all the content to microsd root folder, overwrite everything.
3. Use file manager on your phone, install the new garmin sisx file.

Done. All POI, My Locations, basemaps, maps, vehicles, voices, etc will keep intact.

Yes can mix colour...it come 5 per set silver colour..5 per set grey colour...

mine is ok .. nothing happen .
Overwrite all the folder inside ur MicroSD

Can explain bit on the "hanged" problem ?

so urs is 5.00.60?

can you check on this??

go anywhere where you need to type something (e.g. search). using alphanumeric mode, push asterisk (*) to bring up symbol menu. can you exit it back?
