After reading all the comments from the start, I decided to go for Dr Megat Shiraz at Columbia Asia Hospital, Puchong.
Done
1. Septoplasty due to deviated septum
2. Partial endoscopic turbinectomy
cost about RM13k all in (company insurance covered, i only topup rm6 registration + rm300 covid rt-pcr test). Not bad and not too expensive i think.
Surgery done Wed (27/1/21) afternoon > wake up on the evening after general anesthesia with full of nasal pack inside both nose, only can breath with mouth and pressure with the ear.
Not more than 20 hours.. the next day 8.30am remove the nasal pack already, monitoring, and discharged Fri (29/1/21) afternoon. Total 3 days hospitalised. I experienced panic only in Day 1 coz of incapable to breath since nose packed (I have anxiety). The rest is fine only sleep eat wakeup. Overall its good experience. Now in the midst of recovery.
I very very recommend Dr Megat. A super humble, respectful, experienced, skilled ENT doctor. Well explained and understand patient situation entirely not in ENT scope only. Even after the surgery and at home you can still text him to ask anything. He'll entertain no matter who you are, how long or how many you want to ask and correctly answer in detail. He'll explain all the risk involved. I praised him best doc I ever met so far. Even the nurses there agreed with this. All this while been to P*nt*i, K*J, hospitalized and discharge not even clear explanation what went wrong. Felt like really being served to settle my problem rather wanting money here. Touch wood.
ENT Specialist, any suggestion?
