hi,
Just met Dr. Khor from his Clinic @ Pudu. He said that my nose bone is a bit crooked and it blocked the airway. He suggest to go for surgery to straighten the nose bone.
Anyone here went through this situation before?

I used to use my mouth to breathe rather then my nose. This caused the air easily entered into my ears n i feel preasure on both side on my ears. Anyone know what exercise can dispel air preasure from both ears?

Just to update. I had my nose operated by Dr Khor last week due to my deviated septum. The surgery took about 2 hours (starting from my sleep until I woke up). I feel I can breathe better once I was conscious.
Now I need to faced by bloody nose as I need to keep on blowing my nose from time to time to avoid blood clot. But it's getting lesser as I keep applying the oil drops every 3 hours.
Will update again my condition in a few weeks time.

QUOTE(ExCrIpT @ Jun 22 2014, 01:26 PM) Everything went well? How much it cost you? My nose is like normal now. But I still dont dare to dig my nose as deeply as last time. The total surgery costs is ~RM5000. Total post-surgery treatment is ~RM1000 (4 times visit to Dr. Khor clinic).

QUOTE(xenophoenix @ Aug 23 2014, 06:37 PM) Hi all, just to sharing with you guys.. I have just done my surgery for sinus, septoplasmy and septum deviation... Total damage was about RM9.7K. But now after 1 week, my nose still blocking a side.. (Sometime left sometime right). Would like to know is this normal? Dr.Khor asked me to drop some warm (plus little salt) water into it. It's normal. After I done my septoplasty, my nose often get blocked. The reason being blocked is because the blood and mucous are dried up. Dr Khor said it's normal and he recommended me to apply the oil drops into my nose every 4 hrs and blow out my nose (not blow too hard) frequently. For post surgery follow-up, I was required to see him every week. During each visit, he will insert a small hose from a machine to suck out all the mucous and dried blood from the nose. YOu will get some nasal spray (salt water) to ease the congestion. Don't worry, things will get back to normal in 3-4 weeks gradually.
