I know a guy who is stuck in Sunway medical now. Had dengue, but no money. Hospital ask to pay 12k for hospitalization. Ask insurance already. They ask him to wait 3 months.

Now hospital says pay monthly for 3 months. But still cost over 3ks. Anyone knows anyone who have a higher bill than his?

Yes the claim will take 3 months for approval.

No idea. Will update once I got more info. But as I checked on the net it doesn't cost more than rm 2k. I think its cut throat. Luckily for me, my insurance paid everything and add ang pow Rm300 per night from the 3rd night.

Dengue Fever: Had I been overcharged from unethical hospital?
I have a worker who was recently infected by dengue fever and I had him sent to hospital on 30/5/2015 at 7.35 pm. When I returned the next day at 10am. they told me I had been charged RM$800. I was shocked because before that the worker told me he felt better and was able to walk more than 1km before he going in.

Specialist specialty is to squeeze as much money before they are planted into the ground. The more you ask or tell them you read from somewhere. The more agitated they are. It's like we know their dark secrets. They only want to tell you the advantages yet you still need to sign up no matter what happens you cannot sue them. No moral, if got, Panadol cost how much, see if you ask them can discount or not?
