QUOTE(ah_khoo @ Sep 17 2009, 03:27 PM) as long as there's a down core option in bios (which i'm sure all boards which can do core unlockin have) will do. I'm using MSI770-C45.. Is it just me or does this mobo not have a down core option? Anyone care to advise?? Btw, i'm using 0925CPMW.. or was it APMW.. sigh.. no luck. . |

I don't get it.. for high speed OC some have stability issue.. if the voltage supplied not sufficient for the HIGH cpu clock.. thus not recommended to enable it for OC.. |

QUOTE(lhongwuh @ Sep 18 2009, 12:29 PM) Either that or your bios is still not yet optimized to enable unlock cores....Before this I wanted to campak Asus M4A78-E to the wall....but after waiting up to 6 bios updates....I think the thing I should campak is my pillow....wakakakakka Either you chip is unlockable, or that your mobo isn't capable of enabling the hidden cores correctly... I'm on CnQ also still ok....I OC'ed up to 3600 and when idle only the CnQ kicks in, saving a few watts which I would just wasted by leaving the PC on.... Later I youtube 1 vid... |

No more FSB term then use what wor?
I'll try that out as soon as I get off work.. thanks all the sifus!! CPU specs? Ermm... no screenshot but:- CPU: 550BE MB: MSI 770-C45 Ram : KVR 1333 DDR3 4GB GC: ATI 4870 PSU: Xigmatek 550 HDD: 800GB Caviar Green OT: If i OC by increasing FSB, my DRAM frequency goes up along with it.. Is that bad? I mean, will it cause any system unstability? |
