I think, the more important issue here is that Mr. Stimix cannot even differentiate between DVD and BD image quality.

I proposed the mod sticky this:
*REALTEK 1073DA/DD CANNOT DO BD-J* Save server space and time for other forummers who don't bother searching. |

To be honest, I would say the fault is with Realtek, not ACRyan...

SDK3.0 or SDK30.0, I doubt HD audio bitstreaming will see the light of day.

QUOTE(stimix @ Jan 19 2010, 12:50 PM) Tvix is still the same realtek player so same issue as AC Ryan...HDX is a Sigma based player just like WDTV & etc... Please don't go around and give people wrong information lah. Especially as a mod summore. I think lotsa confusion on Realtek based & Sigma based chipset liao! simple: Realtek (AC Ryan, TVIX, Mede8 & more) = Realtek - Kenot play HD Ausio & also no menu on BD ISO Sigma (HDX, WDTV, & others) - Can stream HD Audio 7 can BD ISO?? BUT kenot RMVB |

QUOTE(stimix @ Jan 28 2010, 09:37 AM) BTW, someone posted earlier saying watching same movies in DVD format & also Blue Ray format, and the sound output on DVD much clearer & powerfull than blueray..Well I think i have to agree...the sound output watching .avi is much better than watching mkv.. Cos reviewer using half-baked HT gear. |

I can close it then someone else can open V2. Not going to waste my time with this expensive half-baked, empty promises paperweight.
