How can this be F31fd legend when the sensor even smaller than F31fd or F200EXR?

This camera is good for ppl that want wider zoom range, slimmer compare to F200EXR and better noise performance than other brand.

No need to see the spec also know the sensor is smaller lar, how do u think they can make it so slim and yet cramp 10x optics inside?
Answer - Smaller sensor

Sad to say that Fuji only excel in making sensor/film but not consumer camera

You guys are right. I look at pixel density:
http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/compare_po...200exr&show=all
F70EXR ------------ F200EXR --------------S200EXR
10MP -------------- 12MP ------------------ 12MP
33 MP/cm²--------- 25 MP/cm²------------ 25 MP/cm²

Eventhough lower megapixel, but smaller sensor causing it
to have higher pixel density.

F70EXR is to fight Canon SX10 IS but will failed due to slower lens, shorter zoom ....
but to cater for people who want smaller compact

I just saw that the F70 EXR has Aperture Priority as well as a faster shutter compared to the F200...

but what I really want to know is

Aperture range F3.3 - F5.6 ( F70 ) F3.3 - F5.1 ( F200 )

can some pros explain abit?

I am actually checking this 2 units out .. dunno which one should get >_< I am not worried bout Video recording tho... not a big issue for me I love its low light shots happy.gif

This camera is below Rm1000. Wow.
Is this camera more worth it compare to panasonic TZ7?
Compare the picture quality not video recording.

Probably the first English review from an established publishing site:
Cnet Asia

So far most reviews on the net seems to be pretty good.
+ Good still images (incl low light) quality, 'bokeh' mode, slimmer and cheaper thumbup.gif
- No HD video

Tempting...

I'm not suprised as Fuji camera always keen to have purple fringing since F31fd.

I think the most well controlled purple fringing is F100fd

RM900 any 'freebies' thrown in?

Will it be cheaper to buy in Japan?
If cheaper, is it advisable to buy in Japan ...meaning other anticipated issues, eg warranty issue?

Doesn't seem many shops carry this model yet. I'm considering it alongside TZ4/TZ11 which retails at around 760. Anyone experienced in LYN with this model yet?

Fujifilm as a whole is not popular in Msia...I was looking at it and F200 also, but now I think Fujifilm overall is not that good. It may be the LCD screen which is low resolution, or the color....

I would still rate Ricoh GRD 3 as the best of the rest, after the Sigma DP.

Available at both BB Plaza - there's an electrical shop on 1st floor and Nepmatic at BTS. Both at 890, or 900 with a screen protector thrown in.

The learning curve is really quite steep, even after factoring in Letkeman's now rather comprehensive tutorials.

in terms of functionality, both are almost same. but the F70EXR have some new features like Pro-focus and Pro-low light mode. But the F200EXR have bigger sensor and also a bigger LCD screen.

Just bought a gunmetal F70EXR recently. Any other users here?
