don';t think is necessary, ppl don't know this counters really well.. i do cause Hapseng was the star in every development in my hometown, that said their HQ use to be based in Tawau.

its one of those really old companies, now and than might pop up on the radar...

most of my news are word of mouth, passed from ear to ear, probably old sos or expired sos...

but i hope someone can verify it or at least prove it wrong ...

if its true, than like the saying goes "buy on rumour, sell on facts"

To give you a better perspective of things, i don't own any HAPseng or HSP shares yet..

Even though the rumours are tempting

keep ur ears close to the ground, see more newspaper, read those announcements and may be you might just find something...

Land Deal Rumour ---> Est within this year 2009

Lease Expire ---> Est 5- 10 or Unknown yrs left (rumour is very few years remaining)

TSH ---> Rumour (believe 10% 90% skeptical) but waiting for news to break.

still skeptical of an actual recovery ...

back to 90% stocks 10% cash... slowly liquidating everything... preparing for year end.

i reckon it will continue to appreciate (only caveat being the market and the economy must continue to be bullish)

other counters, I lok forward to add onto my portfolio is plantation and bank (maybe investment banks as well)

so fustrated now, i ran out of funds so i sold resorts... was hoping to avg down... took a bet resorts would go down further ... now it went up instead sigh*...

i feel that the counters i have bought are so defensive, its suffocating myself...

its a good counter to look at (touching than must pay),

i think its lowest for the couple of month was about 6.9x, don't think its far off... perhaps after dividend payment, wait for the adjustment
