I'm having problem with my order too. Booked Satria Neo CPS early June and promised to get the car in 1 month time.

Till now, I still have not received my car. Lodged a complaint to Proton ICare 2 weeks ago and was told that waiting time now has been changed to 3 - 4 months.

I told them that it was unfair, because I was promised 1 month waiting time and not 3 - 4 months. The person in charge, Mr Sulaiman told me that he will push the factory to follow the original waiting time for my order.

Till today, there's still no news from Mr Sulaiman. Tried calling him and for some reason he's always not at his desk or engaged on another call. The person who answered my call told me that I need to talk to Mr Sulaiman as he's the one who's handling my case and they said that they'll ask Mr Sulaiman to return my call, but as you might have guessed, till today, I still have not received any call from him.

All I want to know from Mr Sulaiman is, when is my car actually going to be delivered? If it still few months away, then I'm going to change my order to Gen 2 CPS / Persona or whatever car that the sales agent got ready stock available. If it's going to be 2 - 3 weeks away, I might just as well wait for the original order.

*sigh*

Called the Proton ICare officer who's handling my case again today. This time he's on MC.
Why everytime I call him he's always unavailable? I think he's trying to avoid me.

After getting tired of waiting, I changed my booking to Gen 2 CPS. The dealer got a ready stock available. I just need to update my car loan and should get the car in 1 - 2 weeks time.

I've been taking bus to work for almost a year and can't take it anymore (almost 50KM one way). It'll be easier if I got a car.

Actually it's not SA's fault, it's Proton's factory not producing enough car to meet the demand, they're producing fixed amount of car every month.

When asked why they're not increasing the production when demand increased, they just said it's the factory's policy.

The one who's avoiding me is not the SA, it's the Proton ICare officer who's handling my case / complaint.

Can't afford import car la, and I don't want Myvi. My budget around RM 60k only.

Anybody have any idea on how long does the process of changing loan & registering car to JPJ going to take?
