is a 2GB RAM sufficient if i'm only using the mbp for normal stuff like surfing the net and watching movies and such?

i see thanks! sorry i'm new here but do u know if i can run most engineering softwares using a mac?

Added on September 20, 2009, 11:49 amdo u guys have any tips on what i should check on / make sure is working when i get the mbp? do u check the laptop at the store when u purchase it?
