hi... i'm new to macbook and i found it's better than windows laptop since 19 nov 2009 when i got myself a macbook white. Now, i'm thinking of selling it and get myself a macbook pro 13" (RM4499) which the spec is almost the same....

any advice from you guys?

Thanks

Why wanna change to MBP 13" since you have to latest Macbook White?
If you need the FireWire port, I understand.
But the price different alot, and it's almost the same spec, the harddisk might downgrade to more less space.

My advice keep your Macbook wait until QuadCore Macbook.

the most thing i concern is the surface of macbook white....easily to get scratched...

quadcore macbook must be very expensive loh? when will it be available then? do u think mbp's price will drop?

thanks

I also using MacBook White, cover with my Moshi Codex caring case all the time to prevent scratch ~  rclxms.gif
But I think MBP also easily get scratched ~

QuadCore, not very sure about the price, but look at the current iMac 27" i5, i think is cheap.

any pic to show? where can buy it? thanks

Hey, thanks for the reply, I've read a lot of reviews on the Macbook and Macbook Pro 13". Some are good reviews while some are not so much, but overall, both are good laptops. I'm planning to get mine from Machines at JB because I'm studying there. And I think I wanna get a Macbook Pro 13" biggrin.gif

Though there are some reports that made me skeptical though. Some say that the WiFi signal on the MBP is not that good because of the metal chassis. And it tends to get really hot.

The MB... well, the polycarbonate chassis is definitely not scratch proof but at least it won't dent and stuff. Too bad it doesn't have an SD card slot, I'll be using that a lot since I prefer transferring the photos from my camera using the SD card directly.

Oh well, either one will be good, I'll just let the seller sway me into buying either one, haha. MB and MBPs are just like an Ixus... when style meet substance... biggrin.gif

How much different on the battery life?
*
under the same usage and conditions, mb white can last for 4-5 hours, but mbp 13" only can last for 3-4 hours... sad

Hey guys, im gonna get a new macbook white unibody soon.. just wanna ask, izzit possible to make an easy payment with a visa credit card if i purchase the laptop online via the educational store?

like a X12months plan, if yes, any surcharge, how many percent?
*
nope, unless u call to ur credit card to change the transaction to 12 months installment or 10 months installment depends on the bank. of course they will charge a handling fee.
