I'm currently hunting for Macbooks and i happened to bump into this 1st gen Macbook Air 1.6ghz at the garage sales selling @ 2.8k. I found it cheap and is now considering. I'm a graphics designer and I used Photoshop and Illustrator heavily so now my question is, can the 1.6ghz spec be able to handle such heavy tasks

QUOTE(kwekeugene @ Oct 2 2009, 07:50 PM) Well, it'll probably just barely do the job. But if I were you, I would be looking at the MB/MBP instead. Few things to consider... Is 120GB sufficient for your portable use? 2GB will be laggy when you are processing multiple files and multtasking And the lack of USB ports just doesn't seem very usable for your work. 120gb for me is more than enough as i don't store much things. Can the ram be added?
