A cycle is if your battery power goes down to less than 50% or 60% and then you charge it. To maintain ure cycles just keep ure adapter plugged in...
Remember to calliberate once a month (Charge your battery fully, then let it drain until it shuts down, it will go into sleep mode for a few hours before it totally dies)

I seriously thought the iAlertU is triggered by the motion sensor in the hard disk... and then it takes pictures of the culprit with iSight...

Ah my macbook pro screen just DIED on me T_T Apparently 2007 MBP's are all getting this symptom right now.... Luckly I bought ACPP =.=

@Tinkerbel Caused by some faulty Nvidia GPUs. Evidently its acknowledged by Apple as well with exchange possible within two years of purchase. Only affects mid 2007 macbook pros. I've been handling quite a few cases like that these few days (must be contagious cause now I also kena XD) Apple Blog Link Here (sorry I can't access Apple website now for the official statement from apple, the website just won't load =.=) Battery is dying (137 cycles but only 29% battery life) now GPU also died ... 7 hours is if your brightness is the lowest, wifi off, no applications running... XD

Not to mention the heat. The mini fans on the macbooks just won't do the job.
