i hv to re-do some alu work, since b4 this only use 0.8mm alu plate, need hard alu, coz need to hold power plug..

and need to build psu holder, n some beam to hold my left/right raven frame..

2day update.. i alrdy test the 2nd psu.. it work..

n nearly finish to make it cover.. using acrylic, the front cover will be make after final design be made.. temp im using double sided tape..





this psu only to power up my hdisk n dvdrom/writer n if got other acc..

some update last nite n after 'sahur'..

last nite, im try to plug on my drain barb.. im force 1/2 barb into 3/8 tube.. damn hard work.. nearly 1/2hour to make it success ..



cant tahan to test wc on real hdware..



my drain tube.. at 90' fitting..







still got some leak.. will try to add more ptfe tape, hv try to change fitting. but worst..

only pwr up by 2nd.. to test on pump, fitting, block, fan.. n to place all hdware into it position..

cant 'tahan' anymore.. rig 1/2 way to finish.. for about 3hour im running wc without pwr up rig (to seek for leak).. it ok..

just finish install windows.. running stock only.. n the result..

minggu nie keje shift mlm la.. so mlm tak ader kat umah.. siang jer..

kena tunggu till next week.. n nk siap kn sleeving gak..

some update.. due to my pump nearly blocking pcie pwr (8pin + 6pin).. *just notice it when alrdy test run this rig.. so i might jumper the 8pin to 6pin. this is coz the space is so limited.. lucky, im still not doing sleeving for both 8 n 6pin pcie cable

some guide for NEW CONNECTOR n MODULAR that i think the best to do sleeve.. do hv some comment on it..



hahah..

we start with what we needed..



the sleeve u need..



cable.. black if possiable..

ok.. we start by cut the sleeve.. *if 24pin, cut it into 24pcs.. length is up to u..



use tape, to tape ur cable..





as u know, im using 2 diff length of heatshirnk..





dont cut ur cable 1st.. heatshrink both end of ur sleeve 1st.. then pull ur sleeve (tight ur sleeve)
how to say it.. haha.. *make sleeve to grip ur cable !! this step is really important to hv good sleeving

after u alrdy feel it enough grip.. cut those cable.. *around 2inc of length from heatshrink end..



use a tape to guide u.. this is for length u needed *if u want it lor..

put ur 2nd heatshrink..



shirnk it from bottom 1st.. then remove that tape..

!!repeat the step for both end..



*since this is only guide.. i just do it roughly.. not same end..



use knife to cut ur cable.. DONT cut the sleeve..



both end been cut, n ready to be solder/clamp to atx pin..

for the pcb, i plan wat to make a pcb (back plate hdisk bay).. so it will be something like an hot swap hdisk..

the top pic, if the female extension, i will mod by cut n fix it on top the board (pcb)..
- got 6pcs.. raven got 6pcs hdisk bay slot..

the bottom pic, is a pcb (circuit that i will made by ecthing process) design still not been finalize
- the blue it sata data conctor (male) ~still plan where to put it,side way or just at normal postition
if sideway, i hv to design a pcb for all 6pcs sata data cnctor ..
- the red is for sata pwr.. it will link together so i will hv only 1 end conctor to pwr up my hdisk..
*im using my 2nd psu to pwr up this hdisk section

both (top + bottom) is within same board (double layer copper)
