Well, I dont know how well AMD can run but judging from my initial impression with one of the AMD based lappy showned by HP, was quite impressed that HP decided to take the DVDRW out and offer an external one for free. However, the problem seem to be the heat. Even when running idle, its hot to the touch. Probably thats because it was thinner than usualy thus the heat is not well spread. Adding in the fact that it was coupled with a GPU which really doesnt help.

In the end, I bought CQ35 which is Intel based with X4500M. If you really aim for gaming, buy higher end which would last you longer.
