any toshiba lappy owner already got thier win 7 upgrade kit??how much do u guys pay for it???

Is it the upgrade kit come with a new license key or use back existing Vista license key? I am wondering whether I can use the same upgrade kit to install to my other pc. I have 2 Vista home premium license, but, one of them is not eligible for upgrade.

it's possible to put it on task menu ??

right click the TASKBAR. and u will see something like below


you have to paste the following path into the location bar like below:
%appdata%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch


right immediately you select folder. you will notice the Quick Launch toolbar on the taskbar.

now drag the Recycle Bin in to the Quick launch.

I call up POS and ask them and they said item sent by Pos Express so nonnit acknowledge receipt. They said already sent yesterday but i didnt receive. Damn POS!!!          How how?

hi, can i ask when u request the windows 7 upgrade kit, is there a Windows 7 oem license sticker come with it?

A customer of mine brought his Windows 7 upgrade kit to my shop to upgrade, it comes with a Windows 7 DVD and a drivers/app DVD, there is a Windows 7 COA sticker also. (It is an Acer)

once of my fren from acer telling me that, if you having free upgrade to windows 7, u just need to install base on your version it will be legal. can anyone confirm it?

mean i have vista home premium, i just need to install an home premium from any cd will do? he said he will just borrow me the cd to burn@@?

Got my Acer upgrade pack yesterday and it was due to the posman cuti so didn't delivery the cd on Monday.

Anyway, i am lucky to even consider getting this free upgrade as i bought my notebook on 21st June 2009. I jes try my luck and put my date of purchase to 28th June and voila, they didnt ask for my POP. Sweet!

There is product key that came with the Acer pack and i get to tear off the sticker of the COA and paste it to my notebook. Now there is two COA lol. If u do an upgrade, u dun need the key but if u do a clean installation, then u need to use the key.

PS: Upgrade is a nightmare!

If only that's for your acer then it's ok since you register.

If your fren doesn't have register the free upgrade, then wan to install win 7, it's illegal.

Once you register u have to pay for the shipping fee d, send to singapore only Rm40 send to malaysia need Rm80, i just like @#$@^!~!@#

I'm really disappointed with Dell. I can create such kit and the only different thing about mine and Dell is that Dell have COA.

Acer upgrade kit too have COA.  Sure diff only COA mah.. Abi what different u want? The CD with hologram>? 

But IIRC, before 22/10, you still need to pay for the upgrade kit, according to sodarny.

i just view the hp site. it charge usd 19.90. can i pay by debit card? forum the previous post it stated that dell and hp adsorb all the fees, is it true?

What I mean is, take a look at Acer packaging, it's nice. Dell packaging looks like they've done it in a hurry.

Then why don't you compare Acer and Dell packaging side by side, shall we?
