well..first and foremost its a malaysian team and we do have a tendency to support the underdogs..i was wearing a man utd t shirt..holding a man utd scarf..and a man utd underwear..i swear...and yet i still cheered when the malaysians had decent chances to score..its very subjective on how much who supports who but i dont think there was many who went to the stadium fully supporting man utd..

i can say that all the fans were neutral and they supported both side when either one attacked or had any chance, just that they were wearing united jersey and united scarf.

yeah...a good example was last Saturday. When Malaysia scored the first goal...the whole stadium jumping and shouting with joy! and when Malaysia scored the equalizer goal, the stadium roar more loudly!
no matter how you like your own club, when facing your own country, you will give some support too

FFS, you weren't there and u believe those bollocks from the media. I was at the stadium last saturday. I cheered for Msian team eventho I was wearing United's third kit. The crowd cheered whenever Harimau Malaya was attacking but were disappointed by the final third poor decision making.

And hi thar dupe!

that done by a small group of people who might just be there to hang out, they might not even be a true united supporter as well.
i saw a guy carrying the jalur gemilang up side down, and i went up to him and told him to hold it the correct way despite the fact that i was there in a united jersey.

silence???i only watched on tv and i could hear the stadium erupting in cheers when he scored!and guess who were jumping and clapping in the background?those in red man utd shirts..honestly..i wouldnt have felt bad if the malaysians won(however impossible that might sound) and we WERE cheering for the malaysian side when they attacked..wayne rooney..one of our favourite players whom i believe got a great reception when he was subbed in..didnt get the same thing when he pushed our keeper in the chest..i could tell that alot of people were furious!

think about it..we get to see the national team play 10 times a year, and we come out to cheer for them every now and then compared to man utd who plays here only once in every 5-10 years..are you saying that it is 'inappropriate' to turn up at the stadium in the teams jersey?wearing a man utd jersey doesnt make us hate the national team orturn us into traitors..

cheers..

dont get me wrong man... i'm just trying to try our own malaysian to change their mentality...
sedih la tgk gambar facebook kawan2 sibuk amik gambar luar stadium semua...

tiket RM98 boleh pergi..
tiket liga M rm10 berkira...duit rokok pun nak dekat RM 10 x kisah pulak

for me the quality of the game(both games)are not great... of course MU still finding their right tune & etc...
then you better watch liga M la icon_rolleyes.gif
