Accidentally drop my N97.
Now notice crack at the backcover and the camera slider loose.
Mine is avaxx set.
If i send it back, any idea how much it will cost ?

I bought SE D970 2 yrs back and still using it (prev with N95 and now N97).
Work excellent.
From garage sales. RM220 if i not mistaken.
Could be cheaper now.

Dont worry, it was drop from high up.
I am infact impressed by the build quality as other phone will 99% immediately hang after that.
Mine still working 100% just that not nice lo.
RM120 for the back cover...should i or wait a while for the price drop (will they?)

Me too hate the connection to 3G unecessarily last time (consuming battery).
I removed all the widgets and leave my menu screen for favourite and shortcut only and it works fine.
Your case, maybe you can try to select GSM only until someone find the solution.

Went to NCC yesterday, quoted RM21 for the back cover and RM120 for the C-cover.
Got it repaired and should be collecting today.

Trying to download game 'chou dai di' from Nokia HK site. It is meant for 5800 but i thought both N97 and 5800 run on same platform.
Got 2 files 'JAD' and 'JAR' downloaded.
Not sure how to go about next to get it working as both also can be installed but the game just not starting.

I brought my N97 for change battery cover and C cover.
They upgraded my FW to V12.
Now i got a small problem.
The unread message icon keep blinking at the right hand top corner despite i had all messages read. I even deleted all msgs but still appear.
Could it be voicemail unread or any solution for this ?

Sad to heat that. I am the opposite way round. Earlier i almost want to trade in my N97 for N86 (reason as i still prefer sms using keypad as i am a heavy sms user)
But as days gone by, i start to love my N97 more especially the new mobile browsing experience (online while waiting customers, mamak, etc). My notebook is start collecting slight dust now. And after looking at FW V20 preview, i am getting more excited.

got a problem after upgraded to version 12. Each time i speak on the phone, realised after about 15 seconds the light will be out meaning leaving a complete dark screen. Then the green and red button wont respond also making me unable to end the call. Only way is to un slide the keyboard, then screen light up again for me to touch end button. Super inconvenient. Later realised my screen saver time out is set at15 seconds. Anything to do with this? Please help.
