u can either use the message preview which will preview your message instead of going to inbox. I am using it now and it is useful when i am driving.
If the message is not important, i'll just ignore it until i reach my destination.

another one is the message reader which is by default in the phone itself. I forgot how to use it oledi.
As for me, i don't like it as the reader (robot) voice is not clear and sometimes i don't know what the heck is he reading hahahaha

I believe that this is the firmware issue. I am using ver 12 now and sometimes this issue happens to me.
so i am still waiting for the new firmware.

My colleague just bought new black N97 and i check his camera lense cover, it seem like the cover is very close to the lense.
We do a comparison and luckily that mine is further away from the lense.
When i slide open his lense cover, i can feels the scratching.
I told him that scratching might happen to his phone. he is like "Bo Sim" oledi

Yes, i have encounter that. Sometimes using Wifi also the same but not that frequent.
But when i am using Opera, it's working fine without Hang issue.

Hi everyone, my gps issue solved! finally.
Since my N97 is AP set so i couldn't be bothered about sending it to the shop and get it fix.
I went through the youtube " how to fix n97 gps issue" and i tried 1st time- failed.
Then i though this won't work anymore.
I watch the clip one more time and this time round, i really follow what the guy do. 7cm of copper wire. it would be good to use our normal telephone wire. Cut it to 7cm length and then use small piece of tapes and stick the copper wire beside the camera where the GPS antenna located. and walah!!!! it work!!!!!
usually my house area is very diff to get signal even with my previous N82 but with this new method i can get the signal 3D within 20 secs. I couldn't believe it myself. I am using Garmin and then i try it out using nokia maps and same result.
Damn happy until ball also jatuh muaaaaaaahahahah.

Anyway try it out my fellow N97 friends. no harm done.
If you don't like or not comfortable with it, don't do it.
Simple as 123, stick it and try it.

Actually u don't have to open up anything one.
Just get one copper wire and then use your finger and just hold it on the antenna.
Then run the Garmin and check the signal.
u can see the diff.

i have done 2nd testing this morning when i am on the way to office, it's superb!

Nowadays i didn't bother to check it anymore.

Just don't think about it. The more u think the more pissed off you will be.

i didn't encounter this issue either in office or home.
