QUOTE(Chyan @ Aug 20 2009, 04:52 PM) Yeah.. Google it once more. Honestly, can't find it. But some do mention what you've said; "void warranty" <--I'm aware of that. but there are others who suggest revert to the old product code. In this forum, people mention it depends on the authorized dealer. Err, I dunno. They'll log into NSU or some sort of software NCC uses. It'll show. Why don;t you try going to NCC and pretend you didn't do something to it and see how it goes. (with other problems of course) Seriously, no one mention NCC will use some sort software for detecting product code modifications. Haven't find it though through google. |

It depend on the A-GPS (or GPS?) hardware in your phone. But I heard N97 GPS sucks abit (maybe its improved on V12 firmware version). QUOTE(giorgene @ Aug 21 2009, 09:57 AM) I marked down the product code at the back of the phone before I send my N97 to Nokia Care Centre, but after I got back my phone, the IMEI number still the same, but product code at the back of my phone already change, is that possible? So far, not possible. How could that happen? QUOTE(nghj @ Aug 21 2009, 10:02 AM) Lens cover. Yup. |

QUOTE(MOMOchacha @ Aug 21 2009, 11:24 AM) Seriously not so much improvement. Just GPS locked quicker, UI response quicker, some bug fix, battery life expand a little then the previous firmware, touch response improved, delay for alarm reduce from 5 minute to 2 minute. |

QUOTE(djbuzzer @ Aug 23 2009, 04:56 AM) Hello. I'm quite confuse right now on choosing the right phone. Put aside the price and I have to choose either N97 , Iphone 3gs 32gb or I890.. But right now , i'm really interested for N97 because i've been using nokia for ages ! lol It depends. But from what you've said, it's best you go for nokia since you're using nokia for ages and you feel like continue using it. It's the same with me, I've changed from Nokia to Motorola and revert back to Nokia and swear never gonna user Motorola because I've been using nokia for ages already which already suits with me. So do you guys think i'm doing the right choice to go for N97 rather than 2 other phone ? |
