o... i wont b waitting N900 coz according to wat i know Nxxx rarely appear in malaysia one. anyway N97 mini worth the wait but from nokia developer forum i only can c mini come with 128MB of SDRAM instead of wat ppl stated here 256....for N900 yea sum1 posting wrote info again... its 256 SDram instead of 1GB....anyway N900 using Maemo 5 platform i dun think it compatible with symbian application lo.... haiz guys pls dun simply spam some untrustable info la...zzz
*
the N900 RAM is 256mb, but with 768mb virtual memory, so whenever you are running an application, it can used up to 1Gb as application memory.. so most of us think its the same as 1Gb RAM.. and N900 will built in with 3D accelerator, so it should be able to run those iPhone games.. wahaha.. although this is not the main function this device is aim for..

hmm.gif i think u confused NAND memory and ram?  smile.gif AFAIK yes there r 768 NAND memory but i never hear of 768 virtual ram in nokia developer forum...
anyway NAND memory is ROM memory which most probably is use for firmware and storin setting bootloaders etcs......
*
i know what is NAND and ROM, but thats a virtual memory that written in their official website beside the RAM area.. and they classified the application memory up to 1Gb:

http://maemo.nokia.com/n900/

Where as in Nokia forum, they put the 768mb as NAND memory.. lol...

sorry
*#0000#-option-check for updates-??gprs
but i failed to find any option to upgrade via wIfI
*
actually its better to use SW update in apps rather than #*0000*, sometime in SW update might have the update but not in the device update..

Virtual qwerty keyboard for that size screen isn't an ideal (since it's capacitive). I like 4" if it using capacitive tongue.gif
*
haha.. for me between 3.2" to 3.5" is ok.. actually i hope Nokia can come out a touch based phone for E-series.. but no news yet.. sad.gif

if <4" screen, better include a physical qwerty keyboard.

I hear rumors about E900, then hope it's true

Btw, my friend says every Nseries always have problem like sliding, firmware version and much2 more while Eseries tend to have less problem. I think what he say is true, he have  been using E71 for so long. no problem at all!
*
ya.. just the screen a bit small blink.gif .. hehe.. E71 is a good phone.. and now ppl eager to wait the arrival of E72 which has a fast processor compare to our N97.. cry.gif

Based on my past experience with N95, all firmware have a similar file size. And firmware cannot exceed the ROM size, right? Otherwise there's no way to store the changes in the phone. Mine almost done.
