@syazwankiller
you must trade with a good strategy that works for you. if you trade blindly that's gambling, and trust me in this forex 'casino', the odds heavily favour the house and it will clean you up in no time at all. |

QUOTE(syazwankiller @ Jan 11 2010, 09:33 PM) if you are still new at this, i suggest you learn everything you could about 'Support' and 'Resistance' first. it will serve as a helpful guidance when you trade. it's impossible to learn everything about forex trading, maybe you could try but you wont have time to trade then |

QUOTE(VinniJeyaa @ Jan 22 2010, 12:24 PM) Timing is everything. If your ship has sailed and you jumped on board, you could give back EVERYTHING you made and then some more. That's very true. If you still want to jump and try your luck catching the ship, make sure you have your life jacket on, otherwise you'll just sink into the ocean. Unlike actual ship where it usually has proper schedule, getting onto forex ship needs strategies and experience. Oh, and patience! |

precisely, although using online banking to do TT will be subjected to your bank maximum allowed sum per day. if transferring large sum of money you'll need to do it over the counter.

I'm not so sure that is correct, VinniJeyaa. From my understanding account A will get margin called first since it used up more margin to open the position in the first place. However, it will retain more capital during margin call compared to account B. Please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm gonna re-read about leverage and margin now

QUOTE(bluffy83 @ Feb 4 2010, 12:39 PM) Gain, Loss, Gain, LOsssss! I think the problem is the market hit my SL too frequently.. aiiiizzz.. maybe 400 pips still not enough I guess.. the spike was too cruel. At the end market still rally through my prediction though.. what should I do sifu? Even though it was a demo account.. I feel like want to hammer this monitor now. haha First thing we must learn to do is to not blame the market. I suggest you revise your entry points if you frequently have problems with SL. Maybe change your trading strategy. If you keep doing the same thing, you'll get the same result. Adaptation is important to be successful in trading. Good luck |

If the trading strategy suits you then go for it. Sometimes I just put my SL at 500 pips then I use trailing stop when it goes in my direction. I've not used a tight SL for months now. It seems to be working nicely for me so far

QUOTE(RwGlmllhpSX @ Feb 11 2010, 01:18 AM) QUOTE(evoangel @ Feb 11 2010, 02:00 AM) bcoz they are lazy to learn.. forex is about learning from time to time.. no one is god coz we have Win trades and do have Lose trades.. I believe that forex is not for everyone. Same goes to direct selling, running a shop, stocks and shares, properties, etc. And I also believe in any industry, the 80:20 or 90:10 rules apply. There's nothing wrong with forex, direct selling, running a shop, stocks and shares, properties, etc IF it's the right thing for you. You just have to find what is that right thing, where you can be among the 10% or 20%. There is no one way to be successful. What works for you doesn't necessarily works for others.Gong Xi Fa Cai! |

QUOTE(Aster66 @ Feb 13 2010, 06:24 PM) hi al masters, just wanna ask, what internet connection do you guys use to trade forex? any other choices other than streamyx? I'm using IZZI wireless broadband. So far so good. Before this I use Streamyx, also no big problem. However, I do notice some delays from time to time with IBFX. FXDD and FXPRIMUS don't have this issue. This I notice on both Streamyx and IZZI. |
